"Big and spacious room. "
I visit this hotel on 13 oct to 15 oct 2016. The room is very spacious n toilet very spacious. The rooms are very beautiful. There is no window view only. Macau is a place that is full with Casino only. No much shopping area for cheap goods. The only place is the has some cheaper sales item is the "Senado square or ruin of St. Paul ". The neighborhood has restaurant n mini mart. Location is not too bad. If u can walk should walk to the hotel or-casino. Macau city is also beautiful at night. Overall I m happy with the rooms n location.
"Amazing Hotel and Casino"
Amazing Macau experience because of this wonderful hotel. Restaurants, supermarkets and landmarks are conveniently located within walking distance. Inexpensive spacious nice clean hotel. And since we booked our reservation at a month prior, we were able to get their promo for free upgrade. Free shuttle service around the city are passing by in front of the hotel. The hotel has a big clean pool at the rooftop, Fitness facilities, Casino, Fine dine in restaurants and all the staff are very friendly and polite.
Pros: Good service, new equipment, good location in downtown. Cons: Bad wifi services. One room only allow two devices to use wifi. Wifi connection is inconsistent. It drops pretty often. Overall the hotel is good. But nowadays, internet impacts our life so much. A lot of people need to have two devices on line. I cannot stand bad or inconsistent internet services. That is the reason I give it Average rate.
Very clean, comfortable and budget friendly hotel!. Hotel staff are nice and very accommodating. Free Wi-fi and they make sure your satisfied with your stay. When we go back to Macau, we will definitely stay here again
"Impressive building but not-so-impressive staff"
The hotel looks grand and imposing from the outside and the lobby, but the rooms are not on par with expectations you might have at this point. However, they are functional, well designed and clean, so no issue on this front. The location of Rio is excellent for those bent on exploring the city of Macau on foot. The main issue with this hotel is the staff, which ranges from cold and distant (at best) to borderline rude (at worst): as soon as it was obvious that I had no interest in playing at the casino but I was just there to explore the city, the attitude of the staff towards me became quite unhelpful and unfriendly. In most occasions, the concierge did not open the main door for me – I can manage on my own, of course, but it did not escape my attention that he unfailingly opened the door with great deference to various characters in formal attire. So basically it feels like there is an unwritten dress code, and you'll be treated differently if you ignore it.
