Moved to this hotel after having slept one night at a non AC and very noisy hotel in Hvar city, and I did not regret that decision! The room was of good size, bed was very comfortable, and experiencing the bathroom, I am glad I didn't share that room with a relative... The sound proofing of the rooms were also very good, despite having a club playing loud music in the lobby, I could not hear it when in my room. Very nice! The breakfast was good and especially nice having it outside on the harbor.
This hotel is located right in the heart of Hvar so all of the bars and restaurants are only a stone's throw away. We were really happy to find that the ferry literally docks just outside the hotel premises so we didn't have to lug our heavy suitcases very far. After reading other reviews we may have been lucky with our room location - we were situated towards the back of the hotel so there was no noise from the harbour (I was a little worried at first that we would get the noise from the Sail Croatia boats docked out the front and from the bar downstairs. So I would request a room away from the front of the hotel if you're a light sleeper like me). We also had a decent sized room with plenty space for luggage. One thing we found strange (and somewhat amusing) was the layout of the bathroom. Ours did not have a door so you could literally watch the tv when having a shower. This also meant that whoever was having a shower could be seen by their room mate if they happened to walk to the other side of the room. The toilet was only enclosed by a glass door which was not very soundproof. There was really not much privacy at all and there's just some things that should be kept to ourselves! Breakfast offered a decent selection and also ran until 11am which was good for those wanting to sleep in. It was nice to sit and eat whilst watching the boats dock each morning. We found the staff to be very friendly and eager to help us with any bookings or day tour information.
"Fab Girls Holiday"
The hotel was an excellent location, everything is within walking distance, but surprisingly quiet at night! It was very modern and well kept and the breakfast included was lovely. One thing I would say, was the rooms are very small with little space (which was annoying in a room with two girls and plenty of stuff). And, don't share a room unless you're comfortable with someone as the bathrooms are glass and the towels were tiny! Overall great hotel!
"Great location and lovely boutique hotel"
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel Is brilliantly located as you walk off the boat. We had a nice cosy room and a balcony on the front and I could have sat there all day people watching it really was great. If you are looking for somewhere more quiet perhaps request a room at the back. The breakfast was nice and so was the complimentary wine at the BB Club. As with other travellers reviews I would recommend the actual toilet to have a fully frosted glass window. One minor issue was the inability to borrow an iron+ironing board which is usually a given in hotels. There is of course a laundry service but this is unnecessary when you just want to quickly iron a shirt to put on that night. Riva yacht is part of the suncani Hvar group so you can use your room key to sign for food and drink at the Amfora and Adriana (and can use the Bonj Les Bains beach club although this was shut for the season when we went)
"Nice hotel but unpleasant room"
The hotel has a fantastic location. We were given a room at the back of the hotel meaning quiet but no view but it was our choice. the room was recently renovated. However we absolutely disliked the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom which gave no privacy and disliked even more the glass partition although with a few stripes between the toilet and the room. I'll choose another hotel if I go back.
