We have just returned from our first overseas family holiday and would like to thank the staff of this resort for making our holiday so special. The Rixos resort is outstanding , its Beautiful and peaceful and well maintained. A first class resort. What makes this resort is the staff. They go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. The location is glorious set amongst the mountains with a beautiful harbour to view. A special thanks to certain staff members although they were all a credit to the Rixos resort. Gokyi from the animacion who invested a lot time into the guests , taking time to know them and make their holiday more relaxed. A great guy who does his job so well. The staff of the Peoples restaurant, the fantastic waiters who gave exceptional service and the talented Chef who made the most delicious food and made our little girl feel so special. And the amazing Taylia who served us drinks all day making sure everyone was well looked after. Exceptional service. You made my daughters holiday so special. We will take lovely memories from this holiday , all thanks to the staff of this resort. The cleanliness is exceptional and all the staff in this resort go that extra mile. It will be hard to find a resort that's equal to this one. The ALL inclusive package is the best I ever had. Thank for our beautiful holiday to Turkey we will return. Claire, Clive and Lillie Rose
Beautiful place lovely rooms, large pools. Secret beach to which you have to get a boat too. All staff friendly. Very clean and tidy in all areas. Local buses into net town very good reliable and on time . Fabulous 5* place
A gorgeous hotel, nice a modern and beautiful rooms. If you're looking for a premium all inclusive you'll do well to find something better than this. I've done Sandals and the likes and I'd say this was definitely better. Nice selection of eateries but had better buffets over the years and hey, the evening entertainment was pretty damm good too!! Will definitely be back!
"Best holiday ever"
Everything was Amazing! Me and my partner stayed at Rixos for 5 days, my experience was way better than I expected. The location was perfect! The hotel is very clean. The staff is smiley and helpful at all times. The food is great and the service is excellent! We will miss this place so much; we will miss the sun & beach, playing dart at the beach with Bora, great food and amazing coctails. I would specifically like to thank to Mustafa who served all of us greatly at the beach and Bora who entertained us with dart game. And thanks to Rixos for making our holiday unforgettable.
"Understated and Excellent"
Our BA Flight was delayed, so we did not arrive at the hotel until after midnight. We were met at the entrance and taken through to reception. We were asked immediately if we wanted a drink, while we checked in. By the time this was done, our luggage had been offloaded and we were taken by buggy to our room. Our room was on the 1st Floor and it was immediate from opening the door that everything was of high quality. The rooms are large, have King size beds (there was a singles option) and have big bathrooms. There were 2 large double built-in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space (with hangers). There was also a large flat screen TV and built–in Fridge, which was stocked with water, soft-drinks, a couple of beers and some chocolate/Haribo’s. As we had not eaten on the aircraft, we asked if there was somewhere we could get a snack. We were directed to the People restaurant which is open 24 x 7. Got a really warm welcome from the waiter and asked what we would like to eat from the fairly comprehensive menu. The food was delivered quickly and was very good quality. I had the Club Sandwich, which was delicious and my wife had the grilled chicken (also delicious). The next morning we went to the Turquoise restaurant and sat outside for breakfast. There was an incredible variety of choice, including fresh bread, fresh fruit, smoothies made for you from your selected ingredients, Yoghurts, 15+ variety of cheeses, croissants, bagels, pancakes. A large selection of freshly cut meats and sausages, together with eggs (all types) were freely available from the buffet. The service provided by the staff and attention to detail, was excellent and clearly showed that the high standard of management of the hotel and the training received by the staff, was a great investment. This high level of service was obvious in most of the hotel facilities and by the majority of staff, although there were a couple of times when we thought that individuals were somewhat indifferent. However, this was definitely a minority of occasions. The rooms are built in locks of 12 (or 10 in some cases) and 2 storey. There is plenty of space between the blocks and the grounds were immaculately tended, with large grassed areas and an abundance of trees and shrubs. The grounds are a real feature of the hotel and there were always a large number of garden staff working to maintain the gardens. The two pool areas (there was also a children’s pool), were spotlessly clean and the service around the pools was provided by a wonderful girl (Tanyeli), who was on Roller-Blades. She was always smiling and asking if there was anything she could get for us. Gokay and Bora Bora, were two other staff who went out of their way to make our stay special. We used the private boat to the Secret Beach on a few occasions, which takes about 20 minutes. The beach is mostly pebble, but has a barrier which extends out from the beach about 100 meter’s. This creates a safe swimming area for the length of the beach which is around 200 -300 meters. The restaurant serves a very good menu all day and again, the service was exceptional. Again, as part of our All-Inclusive package, we used the hotels private sailing boat for the complimentary 4 hour journey around the various bays. Great fun, with lots of swimming in some wonderful locations. Great Captain, who explained various points in English (we were the only English people on board). We ate in the Daidala Restaurant one evening as part of our All-Inclusive deal. The restaurant serves Turkish Mezzes and fresh seafood. We were very pleased to take the advice of the Head Waiter, when he explained the local dishes and how they were prepared. Our meal was delicious, with terrific service. One word of warning however, I asked for a wine list, as we did not want the House wine, but the Head Waiter explained that they did not have one. He brought out about 6 bottles of good quality white wine and told us the price of each one. I thought that he said one price for a Chablis and I selected it. The wine was good, but at the end of the meal when I asked to pay for the wine, it was 260 Turkish Lira (£70-£75, based an exchange rate of 3.35) I thought that he told me that the wine was 160 and therefore questioned the cost with him. He explained that imported wine was expensive in Turkey. I explained to him that it was also imported into the UK and that the same wine would have been around £40-£45. The musical entertainment provided each evening, was varied and extremely good. It ranged from Classical to Jazz and modern. The bar service around the stage was fantastic and had a varied cocktail menu. To summarise, this is a great hotel in a great location, with well trained and motivated staff at all levels. Quite often 5 Star Hotels do not live up to the rating, but this one does.
