Room Mate Grace rises in Manhattan, just a few steps from the shopping and tourist areas, 3 blocks from Times Square tube station, 42nd Street, Broadway Street and Briant Park. The Rockefeller Center and The Museum of Modern Art are just 10 minute walk from Room Mate Grace.
Fantastic experience, was some noise from the street etc but given the location this was inevitable, it was much quieter than I expected. Cleanliness was excellent, location unbeatable.Comment of O. Sue , United Kingdom the 2016-04-24
Love Room Mate Grace. Just wish the rooms weren't so small but I guess that's what you get for the great rates. Would definitely come back again.Comment of N. Nwanyinma , United States the 2016-02-29
Très bon hôtel pour New YorkComment of L. Hélène , France the 2015-09-25
The hotel was chic, and clean and the staff super friendly, my room was large which is rare for NY. Overall, i think it's a great choice for someone visiting NY, but for me being there on business it just wasn't perfect for me. Wifi was good, gym, sauna & pool looked clean and were nice ammenities, I never got to use. Personally, I liked it a lot in general, and think for the tourist traveler it's great.Comment of W. Magnifica ubicación, muy amables, habitación muy cómoda, tan solo echamos en falta algún mueble más para dejar cosas en el baño y en la habitación. Totalmente recomendableComment of P. Ana , Spain the 2015-05-03
Good design, friendly staff. The only minus was the poor wifi.Comment of A. Pal Laszlo , United Kingdom the 2014-02-22
"Amazing service and beautiful rooms "
The service was amazing. House cleaning was very patient with us and our mess. The rooms were very nice and bigger than the reviews say. Beautiful setting. Pool was very nice as well as the bat area..
"Great Hotel for the Price!"
Stayed for my birthday weekend in January with my daughter. We loved the pool even thought the water was a bit cold.....but loved the pool bar! Bartender was very nice. The room was nice and the staff was outstanding!!! When I got to our room I found a birthday cupcake for me!!
"Perfect Location For Times Square"
Pros: Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and cleaned daily. Lovely pool and sauna. Gym is also available enough equipment for a workout to get by while away. Location is AMAZING and is perfect for times square but not too close that you can hear all the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough that you are about a 2 min walk away. Cons: Few small issues as the room became hot very quickly due to the size and there being three of us in the room. We tried opening the window but we where unable to keep it open due to the smell of greasy food coming in. We called and asked for the aircon to be checked after another call and an hour or so wait someone came and fiddled with it but nothing came of the situation. We asked for a possible room change but the hotel was fully booked for our size room so we where unable to move. Sliding door for the bathroom would not lock and left a small opening leaving the shower visable which made getting ready slightly awkward as we could see each other showering. Overall besides these small issues, we had an amazing experience and would happily stay in the hotel again but in a different room. Triplet room 3 people 6 Days 5 Nights Feb 11th-16
"Nice for a Romantic Getaway"
My sister and I stayed for three nights. When we checked in we were told that due to some work being done on other rooms we would had been upgraded for one night but would have to move rooms the next day. Luckily we ended up being able to stay in the upgraded room for our entire visit. The hotel was extremely clean which is a big plus and I really liked the feel of the rooms with the funky wallpaper. The room we were upgraded to was huge especially for New York standards. The only reason I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars is that I feel like they should definitely advertise that there is no door to the bathroom which is a little awkward if you're not traveling with someone you are extremely close to. I would definitely say this a great hotel for a romantic getaway, but not good for a family vacation. The pool area can definitely get a little more than PG-13. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again, but not for a family vacation.
