+ big rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful design, quiet rooms, clean, good shower, very good real cocktails at the bar, private beach! - very little bathroom, little space for clothes, breakfast is very basicComment of V. Hilde , Belgium the 2016-02-22

"Nice Hotel, don't drink the wine!"
Great little hotel with lovely outdoor space. Restaurant/bar use to be owned by the hotel, not independently owned. My wife ordered a wine, which was bad, so she sent it back after tasting. Bartender was nice, and replaced. Manager, looked at the wine my wife returned, and poured back into the bottle. Gross. Needless to say, she didn't have a second glass of any of the wine, and only finished her new glass because we watched the bartender open it. I believe it was the manager that did the dirty deed, as the bartender looked grossed out as well. Stay at the hotel, but drink elsewhere.
"I love this place, did I mention I love this place!"
From the fabulous lobby to the artsy hallway leading to the room to the rooms itself, I simply love it all. Customer service was wonderful. Anya the bartender was wonderful and so was Devin at the front desk. The took care of us very well. I will definitely use this place as my go to hotel stay. The rooms were VERY clean, which I loved. I had the room with a king size bed. The only downside was how small the bathroom was but I am not staying or sleeping in the bathroom. You are kinda away from the noise and the rustle and bustle of Ocean Dr. But you only a walk away from the action. This place is a hidden gem. I will definitely be going back.
"We must have gotten "the bad room""
Everyone raved about this place, we booked based on ratings. Cons: Our room was tiny, overlooked the alley and had exactly two towels. No face cloths, one hand towel. Just kind of motel six esque rooms. All tolerable stuff. Biggest issue was the noise, I'm a light sleeper but between the people upstairs stopping and slamming all night and noise from the hallway (we heard every word, every door slam, etc) I had the worst sleep ever. Just not an amazing room experience. I would not stay here again. But maybe this is a 20-something hotel' Pros: Location - perfect, walking distance to everything. Staff - super great, not their fault the room was awful, they apologized and seemed sincere. Very kind, professional staff. Cool lobby, great outside space. So depending on your preferences this could be great or awful. Apologize for messy photo - about to go...
"Boutique and affordable "
We discovered this hotel because of a good deal on the internet. It's located at the south end of Ocean Drive. The hotel itself is old, but has been renovated with care and a good eye for quirky design. The breakfast is affordable and offers a good standard including a small selection of warm food (sausages, eggs, bacon, vegetables). The staff is very friendly. Only disadvantage are the noisy wooden floors and the traffic outside. Also, the beds not have duvets, only sheets.
