"Parisian City Oasis"
Overall I truly enjoyed my time at Le Royal Monceau and my first visit to Paris! Lovely accommodations; very chic and modern. The hotel staff was kind enough to honor my early checkin request which was greatly appreciated! Location wise, it does feel a bit far from the popular Paris attractions but one of the main city underground stations are nearby which turned out to be convenient. The chef at Matsuhisa was also very hospitable and made my omakase dining experience one to remember. My only "comment" is that at times I felt some of the staff wasn't personable. Passing by the reception or even concierge I have come to expect a friendly bonjour or some kind of recognition at a 5 star hotel, but this was hardly the case. Besides this, I do see myself returning for a future stay, however if being in a central location is more important to you, you may want to do a little more research.
"Elegant, yet stylish "
Certainly in the very top of exclusive hotels in Paris, being modern, and elegant with a supreme attention to style and refined details. An exquisite selection of culinary experiences often joined with top dj's lineups. A must see!
"One of the best in Paris"
A 6 stars hotel, that was fully renovated about 5-6 years ago. A palace of details and arts. The Hotel has a great concierge tram located in a book shop. The staff are one of the best in Paris. They have a private entrance for suites, totally private with a connecting door to the rest of the hotel facility. Nobu restaurant has opened in the hotel recently. Everything in this Hotel is a 6 stars, except for the breakfast and the spa team, they could be between 4-5 stars.
"Ultimate Parisian escape!"
I recently stayed at this hotel as part of my 2.5 weeks European getaway, and it was probably one of the highlights of my trip. The hotel is well located, round the corner from Champs Élysées and walkable to most sights and shopping area. Design was what drawn me to the hotel as it is very chic and hip. Rooms are cosy but it's pretty much the standard for Paris, especially being right in the heart of it. I had breakfast one morning and the Pierre Herme collection... OMG I could eat there everyday! I also tried the Matsuhisa (up to his usual standards!) on my first evening. Il Carpaccio the michelin starred Italian was devine, service was impeccable and I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Krug pairing lunch. Concierge and the front of house team has been amazing, and they managed to get me a table at Arpege and Robouchon, which I would recommend you to try if time and budget allows. Loved my stay at thy Royal Monceau, and would hope to return one day! PS. Do NOT miss the pool ;)
"Home away from Home"
If anyone is looking for a good vibe Palace you should def go to the RM! The only place where they make you feel Home away from Home. The perfect weekend Thursday @ Matsuiysa, Friday @ Carpacio and Sunday @ the Brunch while passing by the Art Gallery before getting the best Macarons from Pierre Hermes before your check out! In others words heaven in Paris
