"A very relaxing two nights"
stopped off here before flying back home. staff are great and management were very professional and quick to deal with any issues. However staff must remember that this is a premium 5 star hotel and guests want a 5 star service so communication between staff and quality monitoring will help ensure that people get the best experience.
"Amazing place to visit"
I was here for a business meeting and it was for the first time i ever visited this place although i am born and raised in mumbai. It looks so beautiful not from the outside but from the inside. It is so peaceful and the ambience is amazing. You have to visit this place atleast once so that you would understand what i really mean. And i would suggest to visit this place in the evening. Its just a WOW.
"Lots of room for improvement "
Made a business reservation via trusted booking.com which showed a decent discount plus the usual preferred genius reduction. Found the club room interesting with is panoramic glass roof and booked the same for a 1-night stay. Upon arriving at the hotel at 5.30pm the staff at the porch were prompt and asked to help with my little overnight stroller, which i refused as i didn't think it necessary. Interestingly the baggage xray scanner was inoperative and i am sure the gate metal detector was dead too. No wand scanning either! The front desk had 3 people in front of me in the queue and 2 staff manning the counter. However, 2 wedding-party clad brazen men on separate instances jumped ahead of us as if their party in the banquet hall entitled them to be VIPs and were attended to immediately. The staff at the desk was courteous and polite and asked if this was my first visit to which i answered yes. He then phoned in someone to ready a room on the 6th floor. I was handed a printout of my reservation to fill in my contact details and sign after which the staff highlighted my tariff and room category - VENUS for me to see. Was a little surprised when my key card had a 5 series room number. On reaching my 5th floor room (un-escorted) I discovered that it was a deluxe MERCURY room. Rather miffed i called the front desk immediately and asked politely why i had been downgraded and even if so should i not have been told so! The staff seemed to stutter a bit and said he would call me back. In just 2 mins i am told someone would be coming to escort me to my new room 6062. The 6th floor is the new Club or Venus suites and had i not done some research online before booking i would have been none the wiser - and duped out of paying maybe 30% extra for a lower cat room. The room was alright - but roasting hot as the AC was not running and the glass ceiling makes for an oven. The room temp read as 36 degrees and took about 3 hours to come down to 25. Used the swimming pool at 8pm and found the mens changing room a joke - its less than 100sqft and has 2 curtains for privacy. The pool lacked proper lighting and the jacuzzi was not operational. The pool staff came at 8.45pm and literally dragged me and 2 other guests out saying it closes at 9pm. He then poked his head repeatedly into the changing room to ask if i was done and then even asked me to wear my shoes outside in the atrium as he had to lock up - it was 8.55pm at this time. There is only one bank of elevators and 6062 is the perfect opposite of them across the circular structure! Annoying to say the least. Plus the entire elevator area and corridor is like a sauna due to an inefficient AC system. Much to be desired for the touted glass ceilings - the motorised blinds had no labels on the remote and trial and error is the only solution. Some were off their rails so never moved at all. The glass itself was dirty and the whole ceiling every now and then clicks and groans with the expansion/contraction under the mumbai sun. I had set a clear DND on the door and was in the shower at 7.30am when the doorbell rang 3 times with incessant knocking. At least i was awake - if a guest is sleeping at 7.30 in the morning with a DND sign and has to be woken up like this its absurd. The included breakfast was great with prompt service and good food and the checkout was smooth and took just 5 mins. All in all - its not as hyped to be. Location is the main advantage but this place needs to step it up with delivery on what it promises. Will not strike it off my list for my next visit but it wont be anywhere on the top.
"Love the ambience"
Had a great stay.. from the pick up at the airport, to the stay, spa, breakfast and in-room dining service... it was all in all a great experience. The property is located right next to the airport, is beautiful, and has great service...The room sizes are ok and not too big, unless you're staying in a suite...the open area is a bit warm as its massive and the ACs become a bit ineffective... but love the creativity with which the lagoon area is created...its so green and amazing... All in all, loved the stay :)

V were given d room in which ac was nt working n v had to wait till ac is repaired.dey lied tat hotel is fully booked n can't change d room After 1hr of wait dey change d room Really pathetic service Didn't expect dis kind of service from a 5start hotel
