"One night in heaven"
We stayed in a Sala pool villa for one night during our trip to Thailand. It was just a last minute thing with one night to fill and what a wonderful surprise it was. It really exceeded all of my expectations this is a luxury resort located on a divine beach in Samui. From check in to check out Pam was fabulous, she really spoiled us allowing an early check in and late check out so that we could make the most of our short time here. The pool villa was divine I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. We had room service for lunch in our villa and the food was delicious 🙌🏻 breakfast buffet was also amazing. They also have a great gym at the resort and it's within walking distance to local convenience stores and Thai restaurants. I'm going back in April and I'm so excited, of course this time I'm staying much longer than one night. A special thank you to Pam, you made our stay 10/10.
We had Sala Samui as one of 4 places we stayed in Thailand. While all were wonderful (be prepared for great hospitality in Thailand), Sala Samui stood out to my wife and I. We could have easily spent our entire time there. Loved the 1 bedroom villa, the beach, and the restaurant. Highly recommended!
"Relaxation on a beautiful beach"
Sala Samui is a dream destination. Very romantic and intimate. We had booked a garden view pool room, this adds to the romance of the resort. The rooms are natural colours that adds to the naturalistic theme of this hotel. Beach is beautiful and the location of the hotel could not be more perfect. Staff are wonderful, always have a hello and smile for you. Jim who works the late shift at the beach bar was always ready with our favourite drinks and a chat. Breakfast was a feast of health foods and a daily menu that you can order from. Smoothies and eggs are made to your liking. The spa is out of this world with very professional therapist and impressive range of treatments. Although the massages on the beach are very cheap, you cannot beat the spa for a fantastic treat and a 3 Day Spa Journey totally relaxed us. There is a small village with all the restaurants, shops and amenities that you will need and a short taxi ride to Chaweng and the Fisherman's Village Market on a Friday. This was a return visit to the Sala Samui and it continues to maintain its boutique feel.
"Lovely time had."
We stayed 7 nights. If you can get the garden pool villa option as I have to admit I loved soaking away in the sun in privacy. As others have stated, it's a fantastic resort, staff are lovely and the room was fantastic. The pools, beach are lovely and we wanted for nothing. We ate here most evenings and I'd say the prices are on par for a meal out in Surrey, not cheap but not mind blowing. The area around isn't the prettiest if you venture out on the roads but it's the resort you come for. I do recommend a trip to Fishermans Village. As a couple we allowed for £120 per day, that included alcohol evening meal and cocktails. Breakfast was lovely. Oh and if you just fancy a bar meal I can thoroughly recommend the margarita pizza..... Make sure you put repellent on for sleepy time as the mozzies do get in and they loved my legs! We will most certainly go back for a chill out.
We were travelling for a family vacation to Koh Phangan and stopped for 2 nights at the Sala Samui. Being 3 adults we needed two rooms and had the chance to have a huge suite with two separated rooms. The staff was really friendly and caring. The food served in the restaurant is good and local. I really recommend this hotel.
