"Kept my Lost items ; Poor Followup"
I checked out 9/27 in the AM and received phone call from housekeeping evening of 9/27 asking if I was still in the room. I said "no I am in Ohio by now, checked out earlier". They said that there were some clothing items left in the room that is why they thought someone was still in there. "no problem they said, we will give to lost/found and call them to get your items back.". At time of this review it is 2.5 months later and I am still trying to get my items back. I have called lost and found 3 times and emailed the hotel another 3 times. I have left voicemails and got people live. There has been ZERO calls back, ZERO follow-up, and complete lack of professional courtesy to a Platinum member. Room was nice and view killer but the numerous hours upon hours I've spent with zero communication back has left a terrible taste in my mouth and I won't return due to this.
"Great spot to relax!"
Love this property! I've been here three times for conventions but will be back for a relax trip. The service is spot on, and the outdoor amenities can't be beat. From the harbor views to the poolside fire pits, it's a great spot to kick back. Perfect for families!
Lovely comfortable room. Excellent fitness center. Definitely take a complimentary yoga class with the fantastic Hella! My class had only one other lady in it so it was basically a semi-private class, it was outstanding!
"Close to convention center"
This is a very standard Marriott, the rooms have small balconies that look out over the marina. The room was a decent size and housekeeping was pretty efficient. The water pressure in the shower was only fair. The room was expensive for the size and amenities, but is is very close to the convention center and there are restaurants in Seaport Village and the Gas Lamp district that are walking distance so the location is very good for business travel.
Very nice hotel by the water front. We had a balcony room with harbour views and for us it was totally worth the extra cost. Staff all friendly and courteous. Room was pretty big and had a great bed and good water pressure in the shower. Usual amenities including a coffee machine. Quiet at night so another thumbs up there. There are numerous places to grab something to eat within a short walk from the hotel and the whole area had a good vibe. As far as food at the hotels goes, we only ate breakfast there and that was great with loads to choose from. Definitely one of the better Marriott's I've stayed in.
