"Great Resort with Fantastic People"
We just came back from Sandals Montego Bay a few days ago, and had a wonder experience. The resort is beautiful. I've seen reviews commenting on the airport noise, it’s only a few times a day, lasts for 5 seconds, and quickly becomes something you ignore. In addition, we never experienced any issues with running out of food or booze in any capacity. The room was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious and diverse and the drinks were beyond expectations. Daily and evening entertainment kept everyone engaged and connected, building friendships between staff and other travelers that extend beyond the few days we were together. Two areas of opportunity I believe would improve the experience. (1) heat the pools, they are just too cold for many people. (2) put champagne glass holders next to the patio tubs. Anyone contemplating between Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay should chose Montego Bay. We spent a day at Royal Caribbean and their private island including the clothing optional area, very nice resort, but its confining. If you stop by the resort shop, tell them Cheap Charley sent you. It will surely make them laugh, good people. One last comment, while you are there you will meet Ramone Williams, social director, entertainer and life of the party. He is one of the largest factors in how much we enjoyed Montego Bay. He’s a fantastic showman, dancer and takes the time to meet and engage with everyone. While we were only there for 5 days, we were so very sad to leave and say goodbye to Ramone. He even walked us out as we boarded the bus to the airport. Any resort, cruise ship or hotel would be VERY lucky to have Ramone as part of their most visible team members.
"Great first time at Sandals!"
Thank you to Nasha and Mykel for making our trip so awesome!!!! They anticipated our needs, knew what we needed/wanted before we asked, and were genuinely fun to be around. I would absolutely request them when we go back, as I can't imagine anyone else being THAT good (and friendly). I hope the management reads these to let these two employees know that Katy&Bret, Pete&Wendy, and Meg& Jeff absolutely loved their service, help, and friendship! Another high five to Jason at the Piano bar for playing everything I asked him to!!! What a talented & very funny guy! The food was great: probably my least favorite was Tokyo Joes---but it was still good. Cucina Romana & Stew Fish were my favorite. When you order food, if you didn't get enough--just ask for more! Don't be shy! Bring bug spray--its the Caribbean, and there are bugs at night. I know its a "No Tipping" policy, but you MUST tip if you have a butler. You should also tip the housekeepers and anyone that you feel has truly gone above and beyond. That's my opinion, but it's also the right thing to do!

"Getaway from the cold"
The great part about visiting this resort, you can stay at one and play at 3. Food was great, the place is very clean, entertainment was great. Everyone is always so nice. Got to visit the other 2 Sandals Resorts and that is a blast!
"Christmas in Montego Bay"
We had a room on the 3rd floor of the updated Palms building. The room was nice with a large bathroom. The balcony had a tub on it but we didn't use it. We came here after a stay in Negril. The weather was a lot windier here than in Negril. We were told that it is the windy time of year. We still had a nice time and always got a chair on the beach. We really enjoyed the nightly entertainment at this resort. The playmakers were a lot of fun. We took the shuttle to Sandals Inn one day and walked down to Margaritaville. We had a really fun time there. Then we walked back to the Inn and played some games and had some drinks at the bar there. The employees were really friendly there, but don't think we would stay because it's not on a nice beach. We took the shuttle one night to the Royal Caribbean for dinner. We had been to this resort before and it was still great. They had a nice dinner buffet on Christmas. And we even saw Santa that day! We really like how close this is to the airport. There are a lot of planes going over, but it didn't really bother us...the noise doesn't last long. Also being able to go to the other two resorts in Montego Bay is nice.
