My wife and I just spent 6 days at Sandals Whitehouse! Overall the experience was exactly what we were hoping for Fun, Food, and as much pure relaxation as you want! We stayed in the French Village and were very glad that we didn't change or upgrade at the last minute based on some of the other reviews. Although I can see the benefits to the butler service, we had everything that we needed within a short distance. Even being the furthest building from most of the restaurants, Blue Fields is right next door and beachfront with breathtaking views and a great menu. The short walk to the other restaurants is just a good excuse for a romantic stroll with your loved one down the beach or through the gardens. Aside from the views and the food, the staff was a delight to be around. They all went out of their way to make you feel at home. I was amazed at how many of the staff members remembered our names, our favorite drinks, or where we were from! Cheryne, one of the activity directors went above and beyond on a daily basis to make my wife and I feel welcome and included in all that Whitehouse has to offer. There are always small things that anyone who likes to complain can find to complain about, but we found that with everything that we could have complained about, there were twice as many things that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
"Delightful 10 days in Paradise!!"
Just returned home from Sandals Whitehouse, what an amazing experience. From the awe-inspiring views to the magnificent hospitality, everything was fantastic. If you're looking for a laid-back, easygoing vacation, Sandals Whitehouse is the place for you. The grounds are beautiful and impeccable, the beach is flawless and the drinks are cold! Sandals Whitehouse is one of the quietest resorts we have been to, but lively enough to keep us entertained. There was a lot of construction going on during our stay but it didn't really bother us, we are actually happy to see Sandals investing and improving their properties which inspires us to keep coming back. The restaurants are all very good, we especially enjoyed Giuseppe's and dined there 3 times during the duration of our stay. The breakfast buffet is simple but good and the omelettes are absolutely amazing. We had Wayne make our omelettes every morning, some mornings the other omelette line was shorter, but we would stand in wait for Wayne!! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Sandals Whitehouse and will return in the near future! If looking to book your next dream vacation, go to Sandals Whitehouse, you will not be disappointed! Thank You Sandals, see you soon!
"Overall nice visit"
Here is my breakdown of this visit: First, we used Club Mobay, unsure if it was actually worth the money or not. Hard to tell since we had nothing to compare it to. Our Club Mobay hostess was great and we did get through customs quickly. The food was marginal in the lounge, Rum Punch was very good. Once in property: Staff was friendly and inviting. We got checked in quickly and taken to our room (2316 Dutch Village). Room was clean and comfortable, not Club level, but all we needed. The cleaning staff was friendly and did some "towel art" which my wife likes. Turn down service was sporadic and often times came very early and then late after we were in bed other times. Our favorites: The following staff were amazing and deserve special recognition. Jordan-lifeguard at the French pool was great. Super friendly and funny as hell. He chatted on a daily basis with us, very good! Kimberley-entertainment staff member. Great personality and very personable. She made our time at the main pool lots of fun. She even made a point to stop by before we left to say goodbye. Ashley-entertainment director. Great fun. She does a very nice job and creates a great atmosphere. Kevon-bartender was super funny and always having a good time. His attitude was infectious! "String Bean"- dive master at the Aqua Center. Made my diving experience top notch. Great guy! Doshane-server at Neptunes was my favorite waiter. Super friendly and always a stellar attitude. If all wait staff acted like him this place would flourish! Taneka-part of the management team, she sat with us at the Sandals Select dinner and was a great host. We enjoyed her company and conversation. She was excellent! Restaurants: Giuseppe's- 7/10 food was not bad. Portion size was pretty good. I am somewhat of an Italian food snob, so it's hard for me to be impartial. Jasmines- 7/10 my wife really liked this place, I thought it was decent. They did have a sushi app that wasn't bad since the property doesn't have a Soy, yet... Eleanor's- 9/10 really liked this place. Although the attire requires long pants to dine inside, you can dine outside in shorts. Caribbean snapper was very good, I did find two bones in my fish which is a hassle but can be expected. Bluefields- 7/10 good lunch. Dinner wasn't bad. The lobster was pretty good, slightly over cooked, but hey, it's lobster just the same. Our server here (can't recall name) was not very friendly. She acted like she was being bothered. It was raining, but that doesn't excuse her piss poor attitude. Neptunes- 9/10 very good meals here both lunch and dinner. The best part about the restaurant was the severs we had Doshane and Fabian were top notch. Both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to accommodate our every need. Even when Doshane was NOT our server he made a point to say hello. Great guy! Cafe de Paris- 8/10 I was impressed with all the pastry options. So much more than some of the other property's we've been to. The food and beverage manager, can't recall his name, was very friendly and always asked for input on how they were doing. Great crepes! Bayside-5/10 buffet meals were ok, biggest complaint was we never got a chance to eat dinner as it was closed down our third day for renovations Overall property rating: 7/10. We liked this property although it wasn't our favorite of the 4 we have visited. The amount of construction that was going on may have taken it down a notch, but our primary issue was the fact that most of the restaurant were all located on the east side of the property. There is only one dining option on the west side. We new that the Italian Village was being renovated but several other construction projects popped up while we were there. Bayside was closed day 3 for renovations. Jasmines closed after day 2 and then reopened, bungalow project began and noise at the French pool due to this caused us to move to the main pool. Another beach project began near the Italian village, just seemed like there was projects all over. I waked the perimeter of the property every day until the closed off the access due to the new Soy project. I understand that they are making property improvements, just wish they weren't doing so many during our visit. We have visited 4-Sandals properties and they are listed below in order of our preference: 1) Beaches Turks & Caicos 2) Sandals Antigua 3) Sandals Barbados 4) Sandals Whitehouse Hope this helps!
"The jamacians are the best"
Our trip to the Whitehouse was one of our favorites. The staff is by far the friendliest, nicest group in all the islands. Our favorite places to eat were Jasmine and Bayside. The resort is so grand, it felt like I didn't see it all. Everything was very clean, from the pools to the room and the drinks were top notch
"Jasmines restaurant was AMAZING!!"
We travelled to Sandals in Jamaica to celebrate our honeymoon. Never being out of the country left me feeling a little overwhelmed on the first day of my stay but a wonderful dinner at Jasmines helped me to feel much more comfortable. One server went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable, Ashani, made the first night of our trip an awesome one!!!
