"Romantic dinner "
I have asked to organize a romantic dinner for the birthday of my wife. The team done it very well. They organise a magic moment on the beach and have managed everything, pickup in our hotel, birthday cacke,... A great service with team able to surprise you.
We choose to stay at Santhiya for 10 days for our honeymoon. Getting to the resort later in the evening can be quite cumbersome. We had to hire an overpriced taxi due to it being the night of a full moon party, and since the heavy rains wiped out many of the roads the ride was longer than it should have been. The resort does offer transport from the airport in Koh Samui, but only during the day, not in the evenings or nights. The actual check in was flawless though. Your sat down, with hand towels to clean up after your travels, given water and walked through everything. Our checkin guy was a Trainee but he was exceptional. We had a private villa, it was beautiful. The cleaning staff was extremely exceptional, they cleaned our room twice and day. Resort was quiet, it's not over crowded. The only downside is that the lunches, suppers, and spa are overpriced. I would suggest going into the village nearby for all of these services. The Buffett breakfast is well worth it though since there are not many places in the village that are open that early in the morning. Our room came complete with a beach bag, housecoat, slippers, and even flip flops. You could get away at this resort without ever putting shoes on. The beach is nice, sand is a little coarse, and the calmest it got while we were there was a yellow caution. But just a short scooter ride away is a nice fine sand and low wave beach. We attended the cooking class, it was a lot of fun. We also went to a few Muai Thai classes, the instructor, Shane, was fun and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a great experience for our honeymoon. We got pampered, but there are cheaper ways to stay in the same area and have the same experiences.
"The most amazing resort with the most wonderful crew and service beyond expectations."
When i first steped inside the resort i was over whelmed by the beauty surround me. A wonderfull five stars hospitality, great pool, yoga studio and open space gym. We were well treated head to toe. Thank you.
My fiancé and I have just spent two weeks at the Santhiya Resort Koh Phangan. The resort is absolutely beautiful, in a lovely secluded location but with a handle of bars and restaurants a short walk if you like to leave the hotel. We had a hideaway pool villa which was stunning - I would thoroughly recommend this room type. We spent many days lazing around our pool. The breakfast every day was really good - loads to choose from - lunches were also great and we ate a few times in the hotel restaurant for one of the themed buffets, also to a very high standard. The pool area is beautiful but if you like the beach, it was never crowded and the breeze was welcome! To summarise, I would 100% recommend this hotel - the location & staff made this a truly magical holiday we will never forget and will most certainly be back one day. Susan & Paul, Essex
"WOW! Amazing place to stay!"
We stayed at Santhiya Koh Phangan for 5 nights and this resort is over the top beautiful. The grounds, staff and service is impeccable. If you are looking to stay at a place and be pampered, this is it. But be prepared to walk. Our room was the furthest away from the beach and restaurant, so there is walking to do. They do have little vehicles that will pick you up and take you to and from your room, if you want, so this wasn't an issue for us. The beach is small and secluded and you can walk into a small village for dinner or massages without a problem. The path can be a little tricky to negotiate but we did it without and problem. All in all, Santhiya is truly amazing and was the highlight of our 17 day trip in Thailand.
