"Central location and value for money!"
We arrived by train and the walk to the hotel was about 10 minutes. If you had a number of heavy bags a taxi may be needed but with hand luggage it's not a problem. Check in was quick and efficient and all the staff are warm and welcoming. Our room was at the back of the hotel, rooms at the front were more expensive. The room was well equipped and had a kettle with tea and coffee but no milk. It was quite a noisy room as the street below has a number of bars and restaurants but this wasn't a problem with the windows shut and earplugs. Our bathroom had a glass wall and door that could be a cause of embarrassment if you didn't know your travelling companion really well. The beds were excellent with good bedding and for a budget room ours was a good size. Breakfast was excellent; lots of lovely things to choose from with all the usual things on offer all fresh and beautifully presented. The location is outstanding and I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to the city.
"Charming hotel with a soul!"
Scandic Palace is situated with a nice view towards Rådhuspladsen. Palace was one of the first hotels to open in Copenhagen! Enjoy the hotels 100 year old history, exclusive designs and luxurious surroundings. Spacius rooms with nice colours and designs. The hotel has 3 meetingrooms with a capacity up to 50 in the largest meetingrom.
"Excellent location - historical hotel"
Location - 5 stars, Breakfast 5 stars, Room size (European) 5 stars, housekeeping thoroughness 3 stars, front desk staff 5 stars. Excellent location to use as a base for your sightseeing. Some homeless people/beggars by the Burger King near the hotel but didn't harm anything.. just give them a few coins. If you want to go to Tivoli there is no better location!!
"Very good location"
Overall a very good hotel. Rent bikes at the hotel and the sightseeing is much more fun. Beds are hard and needs improvment. Breakfast is good, but very crowded around 0900 am. Parking is in a garage some blocks away and os very expensive. No parking at the hotel.
"Short break in Copenhagen "
We stayed at the Scandic Palace for 5 nights in April and found it to be a perfect base. We explored all the sights on foot from the hotel and walked to it from the station in less than 10 mins, even with a case each. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We would have liked a mirror above the dressing table, to make hair drying easier, and some coat hooks behind the door for wet coats, which we didn't want to put in the wardrobe. The town hall clock didn't bother us as we were up before it started chiming at 8 am, and we were so tired from all the walking that we didn't notice it at night! If we were to return to Copenhagen we would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends and family.
