"Attention to detail"
When booking our trip to Boston, many of the hotels in the area were not available. We found the Seaport Hotel online and it looked nice enough but we had never heard of the hotel. The reviews seemed to be favorable so we booked a room there. So thankful we did! The person that designed this hotel obviously has a lot of travel experience . I,myself, have done a lot of traveling, as well, and have also stayed in many hotels. I really appreciated the attention to small details such as the service light inside the door if you wanted service or you wanted to be left undisturbed, the blue wash cloth marked "make up"in the bathroom, the magnifying mirror in the bathroom, and a golf umbrella in the closet (thank goodness as it rained hard one of our days!) I enjoyed the common sense things like the light switch on the wall by the bed instead of fumbling for the switch on the actual light, the outlets on the side of the nightstands and the Keurig coffee maker. The hotel clerk also made it clear to us, when we came in, that no tips were to be given to anyone on the premises as it was a tip free hotel. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious and they had a beautiful brunch available for a reasonable price each morning. They also had a fire place that was enclosed in glass so that people could sit on either side of it. The hotel is located near many nice restaurants, so there was plenty of food options. The trolley stop was down one block. This was definitely nicer than most of the other big-name hotel brands. I will stay here again if I am in the area.
Beautiful hotel and very professional friendly staff. Very clean very quiet comfortable room and bathroom. Conveniently located to the convention center by a short walking distance. This was my first trip to Boston and I will come back!!! Just a lovely experience over all!
"You'll love this hotel"
Great location- 1/4 mile to convention center where I was attending a conference. <2 blocks from the piers. Close to many tourist attractions. <1 mile from the New England Aquarium where I spent a few hours. A must see if you like aquariums. Smaller than some, but very high quality. The service was superb-Room service meals 2 nights- <30 minutes delivery, 4-5 star meals, elegantly presented and delicious. They have a pillow library- seriously- The pillows on the bed weren't supportive enough, so they delivered a Swedish memory foam pillow which allowed great nights sleep for the duration. Front staff helpful. The concierge helped arrange and cancel some reservations with ease. The staff overall was top notch. Only negative- due to the size and renovations of the rooms, they only have showers, not bathtubs. But the bathrooms are elegantly appointed and stocked with upscale amenities. Good WiFi. The HD TV was the best I've ever seen. Would gladly stay again!!
"Convenient for conferences"
Both the Seaport World Trade Center and the Boston Conference Center are very close and South Station for accessing the metro is about a 10 minute walk. The Seaport area of Boston has really become fashionable and there's a lot of great restaurants and night life in the area, not to mention a great view of the harbor. The hotel has super fast, free wifi that is also available across the street at the Seaport WTC. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. I'd recommend a high floor to take advantage of either the sea view or the Boston skyline view.
"Great stay for easy access and fun"
I went to visit Boston with family and booked this hotel through hotwire. The hotel and staff were great and the location was perfect to tour Boston and visit family in Southie. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would easily stay here again.
