"No Sea, No Park, But a good hotel"
The name "Seaside" is very inviting , but its just a name. There is no sea around this hotel. The location is prime - with the city centre and hauptbahnhof in walking distance. The in room dining menu as well as the quality/quantity of the food was great. The breakfast area was quite small and one keeps bumping into other guests.
"No sea around but well located"
Nice no-thrill hotel for a short business trip right in the middle of the city. As it is right in the middle of "everything" it is a very busy place and I wouldn't recommended for anything else but for a busy business needs. The little lounge area is pleasant enough to unwind after a long day.
"Good - apart from the breakfast room"
Really pleasant room (though it was a double room for single occupancy). The spa area was very good. The main problem is the breakfast room which is far too small for the number of guests. Not enough tables and bumping into other guests constantly.
Hotel is in great central location, it's clean, however the interior is lacklustre, the bedrooms all dark woods and uniform blue textiles, the main breakfast area is in the windowless basement, no atmosphere, and beware, we got charged for using the Internet, the info when logging in to Wireless is not clear at all, the hotel needs to address this, or maybe they don't want to! We loved Leipzig, we'd just stay in a different hotel next time.
"Narrow minded as to baqsic extras"
The Free Internet is limited to one hour a day. This causes awful confusion. If one does not use the Coffee machine there is no kettle in the room for tea and hot water. The TV in the room is tiny and the stations available are hardly any use if you speak only English. The staff are really nice & friendly. The breakfast on the lower level is good & interesting set out as if in train carriages in an Agatha Christie book. The Ground Floor Breakfast option has no atmosphere & less choice. The Hotel is situated in a wonderful spot and close to everything.it has old world Art Deco charm also in the rooms but is not really children friendly.
