"A very good hotel. No problems here at all"
I stayed here for 12 nights in January. I chose a mountain twin room - cheaper than harbour view, and anyway I had a good view as I was on the 11th floor. This is an excellent hotel and moreover, very good value for money. The service, e.g. front desk, was consistently very good and professional. The room was large, very comfortable and clean, and with very good amenities. The hotel is out of town, but I like that. (Some will find it a bit inconvenient, but it's fine of you figure out the Mass Transit Railway system and get an Octopus card to use on it). I didn't have one single problem with this hotel, and definitely recommend it: I will always stay here on my future visits. I only ate one meal (lunch in the lobby restaurant) in the hotel, so can't say much about dining here. But that meal was very good, just a touch expensive for me but not compared to other hotels in Hong Kong, so no complaints at all. Service was excellent in the restaurant - really good.
"Definitely stay here - very spacious rooms"
This was our second visit. We have stayed at the Hyatt in 2010 as well. There have been many changes since then. We could gather that the hotel was cutting cost on many of the services which were offered previously. There is a shuttle service offered to Kowloon but we neva took one. The hotel is stone throw away from University station. The view from the hotel is great. It's far from many of the city attractions but if u want to stay away from the crowd it's peaceful here. The hotel is away from the hustle bustle. The spa this time was expensive and not affordable. However during our previous stay I had gifted a two hour massage to my husband and myself and the therapist were fantastic. We both enjoyed the service. Dinner options are bad around the hotel. There is only one restaurant (sit down) at the station which also shuts early and u will not get some items if they are sold out. One advice is to have your dinner close to the place of your attraction. The biggest highlight for selecting Hyatt Regency is that the size of the room is palatial vis a vis the options that you are offered in Hong Kong.
Great convenient Hotel. Clean, and friendly. Beautiful views, with great ambience. Great food. Convenient to stay on your way into China, or to look around Sha Tin Short walk to the train station, all very convenient.
"Very conveniently located"
This hotel is in the relatively peaceful area of Sha Tin. It is only 3 or 4 minutes walk from the University MTR station and so extremely well located. I used the international restaurant only once, but the food there was good with a good range to choose from. On a previous visit to friends staying in the hotel I ate in the TinTin Chinese restaurant and it was excellent. The heated outdoor pool and the leisure centre were the highlight and sets the hotel apart from other hotels in the area. There is a charge for "high speed" wifi which seems unnecessary in such a wired city as Hong Kong. The basic inclusive package is perfectly adequate.
"Good stay and have a nice sea view "
I would like to thanks the Front desk staff called Michael who gave us a high floor and offered late check out that we could enjoy our pre-valentine's day. The room was so comfortable and very quite. Also, the bathroom amenities were very clean.
