"The Worst Shangri-La I have been"
I have stayed in multiple hotels of this luxury chain and without any doubts the one in Delhi did not meet my expectations . without any doubts this hotel is not at the levels of others. The staff was not that friendly or were not going beyond the standard and impersonal care . The hotel rooms are dated and they need renovations . My room had a funny smell like from humidity. Furnitures are old too . but still the rooms are good size, bed is comfortable, bathrooms are marble and big , the rooms have a full stocked minibar and flat screen TV, The AC is strong needed for the Indian heat. The WiFi was horrible really slow. The breakfast was at the level of this hotel one of the most complete i have ever seen and service at the restaurant was good

This is a beautiful hotel set in peaceful grounds in the diplomatic quarter of New Delhi Great rooms and would recomend the horizon club upgrade with separate lounge breakfast and happy hour cocktails included The hotel is a true five star and immaculate staff service and care
"Nice property in mid of town"
We do not have lots of modern hotels near cannaught place, thats how it is my preferred choice. Rooms are adequately spacious, good view. Food is great. Masala Tea needs improvement. Service bit slower and has scope of improvement. Gym is good and has all. Staff needs to smile bit..not sure why they look so angry all the time. Room service guy was always wearing a big frown

Out of last 5 days , I have at the shangrila tea lounge great place , staff is very hospitable specially the tea lounge manger , sorry bad at names also young Sikh girl she knew what kind of tea would I order , hotel like westin Gurgaon should learn from them how to serve camomile , very hygienic food and great staff . If you are in cannaught place , and need to do ur meetings best place and value for money . Good luck guy . The Gm is great guy it shows how much the staff appecaites and how happy are they yo work around him. Kudos to the General manager Parmeet Singh and his team .
"All that you need"
Stayed here with all my family and felt like a western maharajah throughout. Staff, unfailingly polite and courteous, speaking English fluently and all immaculately turned out. Service,service, service throughout. Breakfast buffet lovely, bit disappointed by Dinner buffet, but drinks and canapés in the exec lounge always a treat.
