"Sylish property, comfortable room, friendly staff"
Hotel was part of a multi-week tour, but if I have to return, I would choose this property. Rooms were comfortable and spacious - and overall the hotel was quite stylish. Included breakfast buffet was very good
"Wonderful Hot Tub"
Stayed here as part of a tour group (Viking 'Roof of the World' China tour). The room was comfortable and the dinner buffet was amazing (the best dessert bar I have ever seen anywhere). Make time for the steam room, sauna and hot tub in both the men's and women's change rooms before the pool - the tub was super hot and relaxing, especially with all the long days seeing all the awesome sites on our tour.
"Fabulous hotel and Excellent Tour Guide"
Great service with friendly helpful staff. Beautiful hotel. Penny Wang our tour guide took us on a tour to see the Terracotta Army including lunch in a restaurant where we met the man who discovered them! We also learnt calligraphy in a local museum! Penny was so knowledgeable and helpful and nothing was too much trouble - she made our trip an extremely memorable and enjoyable one - thank you!
Three wonderful nights at this fine establishment; still got one more night here before heading to Suzhou. Arrival at the airport was greeted by the hotel staff; ride was smooth and comfortable in private hotel vehicle. We stayed on the 18 floor of the Verizon Club room, great breakfast every morning before heading out. Visiting Terra-cotta museum is a must; kept an open mind about hotel arranged trip, which you will sense subtle commercialized of selling tactics, but we were fined with it and purchased some items that we liked. We utilized the gym, decent and well equipped with Olympic size free weight. We didn't use the lap pool; yes, we are from Hawaii. The buffet lunch was okay, no complaints. The young lady Emma Wen at Verizon Club is a great asset for this hotel; great smile with excellent customer service skill. Time to head out for dinner; plenty of restaurants (local style) if you are willing to experience the true Chinese food of the region. We thought the place is less glamorous than Hong Kong or Kowloon, but it's more down to earth, which we actually enjoyed it more. We are fortunate that we could speak Mandarin, so we could travel via cab and order food from local restaurants with ease; if you grew up in the States, kept an open mind about driving and walking habit of Chinese; enjoy your vacation and treat it as an adventure. Overall, we love Xi'an and we will return here soon.
"Wonderful Hotel - Friendly Staff, great location, good food"
This is a 4 star property and it shows. The room was very nice, large with a king bed. We were high enough to get good views, except for the constant smog in this area. Service was great, also we had a complete breakfast every day. Several restaurants are located in the hotel. Since this was a tour stop, we did not have time to explore the local area. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel. Our room was included in the tour so room rates I assume are expensive.
