Next to the Shops at the Prudential Center, this upscale hotel is a 6-minute walk from the Hynes Convention Center MBTA station and less than a mile from the Museum of Fine Arts.
We were very impressed with the high quality all around for the price.Comment of D. Patricia , United States the 2014-08-21
The hotel is biggg. We were afforded early check in and upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was very considerate. Room was big enough for 4 adults. Lifts were surprisingly quick for such a large hotel. Location excellent for shopping and food. Had access to Club Lounge. Not worth the additional cost as the food and snacks were very minimal at breakfast, during the day and evenings. Not much variety on the 3 days we were there. Enough cold drinks but the coffee maker was faulty all the time. This was the only downside of the trip. Service from the doorman to housekeeping was excellent.
"Starwood Delivers In a Conference Setting"
Stayed here for a conference and would definitely come back. Despite being a conference hotel, it doesn’t feel as large as so many others do (Aria, et al.). Location for sightseeing was only so-so, as there are others closer to the touristy parts of the city, though it would be fine for reaching many of the local area city universities. Additionally, it is attached to the Copley Square mall which means a lot of shopping and quite a number of great eateries. Upon check-in I was upgraded to a corner room on a quiet side of the hotel, high up. That meant no street noise, and the view over south Boston was excellent. The room itself was spacious, including a desk, and let in a lot of light. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable. The curtain electronics were a bit overdone, as it took several tries to get the right curtains closed and the right ones open. Overall, Starwood delivered a great experience once again.
I spent 2 nights at this hotel and really wanted to stay more time here. Everything was so great : very clean and cozy room. Comfy bed. Amazing view. And what made my stay so pleasant is its location. Many things to see but I didn't have enough time...
"Business Trip to Boston (Medical Field)"
Great views of the city! Very clean rooms, I was pleasantly surprised to see that even the coffee makers in the rooms had been cleaned (I make hot water with them for the tea and this is not the case more often than you might think). Conveniently attached to mall and nearby several restaurants. I was easily able to get to MGH, BWH, and the airport with uberpool, never traveling for longer than 20 minutes! I booked last minute through a third party and my room was substantially discounted.
Room services was great, receptioness was excellent as well. Very clean, comfortable, quit, excellent view, many more. The best thing is that it's very convenient to wherever you need to go, shopping, MBTA, etc.
