"Rare miss SPG"
You can see in most of my reviews that I don't ever rate poorly, I'd rather not rate and go about my business. Here's the issue with doing that, I actually let business travelers like myself find out for them spelled what I could've helped them with. The reason I seek out SPG is because I'm a part of their program and I like it plus it brings a level of familiarity to unfamiliar places. With this Sheraton I was really disappointed. The room was small, dirty, and had bugs all over the shower. I was so exhausted by my travel that I ignored everything I just passed out in bed. On a longer trip I would've checked out and found another hotel (the Intercity where my friend stayed was much nicer for the same price). I hope SPG can figure out how to bring this Sheraton up to their normal high standard. I won't be returning to this hotel.
Comfortable hotel in centre, very few English speaking team at hotel, restaurant is nice, chef made vegetarian dinner for us.needs lot of improvement in communication skills.don't go for club rooms, lounge is lousy n no happy hours.atleast people at reception should speak English.
Right in the middle of town. Great breakfast buffet included in our rate. Staff was helpful, short ride to the lower city. Several buses stop right in front of the hotel. Didn't use the pool but it looked inviting.
"Customer service (post-stay) not ideal"
I chose this hotel since I am gold member and wanted to assure a good stay at an unknown place. They didn't have triple rooms so I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 3 people. Room ok considering the price (<100USD), and usual level of comfortable bed and bathroom. However I had some problems wich I informed spg after my stay and was promised to follow up but didn't receive feedback from the hotel (no umbrellas in pool area, no electricity on sunday so no AC or elevator - 9 floors)...Just the usual answer from spg.com "we will investigate" ... I didnt like the post stay customer service.

I never made it to the pool. I had a balcony suite. It was on the fourth floor so that was disappointing but it was a nice suite. I felt fancy. I enjoyed the food although I ordered the same thing three times. Only one person spoke English so it was still difficult to communicate but I managed. When pulling up I was a little nervous but you have nothing to worry about. Once you get settled in you will be comfortable and at home.
