"Your room may be at the annex building"
Got informed that my room will be at the annex building during checkin. They have a 'shuttle' to get you there which is a normal car. The ride only 3 minutes, but sometimes need to wait 5-10 minutes for the car. Need to pay for the wifi. Need to pay for the tooth brush. Staff were very helpful and friendly though, with good English.
"Not the best option"
There isn't a lot to do right around the hotel so it's not the best location for walking. The rooms are very utilitarian and so is the lobby. The food options nearby are incredibly expensive. I would only recommend staying here if a business meeting required it.
"Very small rooms and expensive food"
I stayed at this property recently for work as it was recommended by our local partner due to close proximity to their office. I normally share a room with a close work colleague and never have issues with having enough room for suitcases, toiletries, etc. I travel monthly and this was the first time in about 20 years of traveling that we actually had to change to a larger room (at a higher price of course) because the room was absolutely inadequate for 2 people. We could only find room for one suitcase (on the window ledge). In addition, the shower/tub combination had a glass wall open to the room (which could be covered with a shade, but disconcerting nevertheless) and there was no door to the bathroom. There were 2 very thin closets and only one drawer for storage. It was COMPLETELY inadequate for 2 people. However, the hotel was very cooperative about changing to a larger room which was much more satisfactory (living area with desk, large bathroom with separate shower room and toilet room, with a large closet and an additional powder room). We also found the food to be extremely expensive, even by large city standards ($221 for 2 pizzas, mineral water and a average bottle of wine). I have to imagine there are better hotel choices in Seoul.
"Beautiful Fall days at Walkerhill"
Stayed at the Sheraton Walkerhill Nov 3-8 on my first visit to Seoul. Hotel staff are excellent and the many restaurants in the hotel are outstanding. Only downside is a limited wine selection in the lobby bar, but the draft Estrella provides some compensation! Walkerhill is a great spot in Seoul located on a heavily wooded hillside with several walking paths immediately outside the hotel. Beautiful colors in the Fall and the scenery is a nice departure from the downtown hustle and bustle.
"relaxing, feel of a resort"
This hotel, pricey, comes across with an intense feeling of resort. We took advantage of the hiking trail, enjoyed the breath taking view of city of Seoul on top of the hill and visited the few buildings / restaurants along the way. The lobby of the hotel is spectacular, beautiful and grand. The room itself is a true luxury in every definition and I must tell you I have never seen a wider "king size" bed ever before. It is at least 50% wider than a normal king bed. There is also a casino at this venue. Right next to Sheraton is also a top notch W Hotel where we had a very nice dinner. The airport shuttle runs every half an hour and it takes 90 min to go to the Incheon International Airport. It cost only US $16 one-way.
