"Good business hotel "
A good business hotel with all necessity tended to. Rooms are big and spacious. Very clean and centrally located for you to walk around the business district and also the old town area of Bratislava. Breakfast spread is good and tastes good as well. However they have same fixed buffet menu everyday with no change at all. The European mall adjacent to the hotel is good for shopping and also for grabbing some quick bites. Overall a nice hotel in the centre of the city.
"Stayed for Marketing Conference"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton while attending a Marketing conference for my company. From initial check-in to final check-out I would say that this hotel has the same standards as you would find in North America. The check-in process was really easy and fast. The rooms are really big with king sized beds, comfortable pillows, safe, mini bar and plenty of space to store clothes. The gym is large enough and equipped with new equipment and the indoor swimming pool is also a great size. I absolutely loved the breakfast as there was anything you'd want under the moon from great cooked breakfast food to local pastries and various selections from coffee. I did use the laundry service but he process was a little clunky as you had to call for them to do the pick-up. When I first called I got bounced around to a couple of departments to eventually be told that I'd get a call back. Eventually laundry got picked up although the staff seemed a little confused when one person had picked up the bag and they sent somebody else thinking it did not. Honestly this was not a big deal but I think the Sheraton could streamline this process and just allow people to leave their laundry in the bag provided for pick-up during maid service. The only downfall for others to know is that the Hotel location is not the best. It's a solid 15-20 minutes walk to the old city and when it's super cold like it was then you are often confronted to call a Uber. For summer visitors though I'd see this as a non-issue but know that they are other options closer to the old town. Note that beside the old town and surrounding areas there is not much more to see in Bratislava so walking distance proximity during the winter is a good thing.
"Nice and Conveniently Located"
Very nice hotel conveniently located near the large mall and office buildings. Great for short business stays. Rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is diverse and good. Old town is within walking distance. Staff is helpful and accommodated our requests (early check in, late check out). On the back side near the river there are several good restaurants and cafes. Overall, recommended.
"Quality Sheraton Hotel"
I wouldn't say that hotel is anything amazing but without question it's a very high quality hotel typical of the Sheraton chain. Would happily recommend it to anyone coming here on a short stay or business
"Not worth the price / far from standard I am used too"
Basically there is not much to be liked about the hotel except from the convenience of the location. Perhaps the thing that bothered me most was the concierge - I mean the joke that they call concierge. Usually there were two young man behind the dest right at the entry. They would never answer your greeting and welcome you with a look as if each visitor, aside their friends in some fancier cars would bother them. It is a shame that all the business travelers are expose to something like this. I will need to stay 30+ nights in Bratislava, thought that this hotel could become my base station, but it want.
