"Lovely staff and hotel/room let down by tepid, low standard hot breakfast buffet"
We were in room 207, which was large, light, all fixtures/fittings in very good order, plus a super comfortable bed and feather pillows so we slept well! Very large tv, good range of channels to watch. The bath towels were small and not a very high quality compared to many similar hotels we've stayed in but were ok. the water was always piping hot and the shower great with all it's variations in how the water came out! The beverage tray was limited but ok, only 2 creamer portions given though but there is a large supermarket very near the hotel, so getting proper milk wasn't a problem. Good sized safe, iron and ironing board, full mini bar. The reception and waiting staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hiccups re our reservation and pre arrival requests were corrected quickly. We did the 'sign right now on the dotted line or the breakfast offer is gone!' but both couples were presented with bills to sign for a full cost breakfast 3 times... but that too was corrected. Hotel is in a lovely location, super views from our room and it was always very quiet. Easy 5 minute walk to Wawel Castle and 15 mins into the centre of the city. The central large atrium is very pleasant to sit/dine in. The cold buffet breakfast selection was extensive, nice/good choice in all areas, and delicious to eat... ~BUT the hot food buffet was poor. None of us, over the 5 days, ever had any hot food, it was always tepid if not cold. I couldn't believe a 5* hotel allowed chefs to EVERY day come out with 'top up' items and tip them on top of the odd bits left in the chaffing dishes... and even then the top up food wasn't hot! you can imagine what the scrambled egg chaffing dish looked like with dried up egg around the edges and varying colours of yellow egg on display!! the bacon was limp and not well cooked, the mushrooms had nice flavour but were tepid every day and the grilled tomato, sometimes fully cooked often not. To cap it all whilst we sat we could see a chef happily eating with his hands in the kitchen whilst food was being prepared!! There didn't seem to be kind of manager around any day or I would have said something. needless to say we ate out each night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton.
We stayed last weekend with my mum And sister . The hotel is lovely the beds are comfy and I wanted to take home bedding too ! The breakfast was good and tbh the drinks at the bar were cheap compared to London prices We ate out look st my other reviews . The staff at this hotel were superb . My sister treated me to this weekend so not sure if I can afford to come back to the Sheraton but defo coming back to Kraków and Poland
"Great Hotel for Business Visit and Private"
Sheraton is one of the best Hotels in Krakow, the Services is good, the rooms nice and spacious. The View to the Wawel Castle from many rooms and their roof top bar make the Hotel a great spot. It is in Walking Distance from both the Main Square as well as old district of Kazimierz.
"Nice hotel but nothing special! Not an exceptional Sheraton"
We spent a couple of nights here as part of a Tauck tour. The hotels where we stayed on this tour other than Sheraton Krakow were exceptional. This one was mediocre. I would not not rule out staying here because we did not see the other hotels in Krakow.
"Amazing Honeymoon!!!! Best Hotel ever."
We have been coming to Kraków the past 3 years because of how beautiful the City is but also the care, hospitality and cleanliness of this amazing hotel. I travel a lot for a living and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The staff are so friendly and really make an effort with all their guests, they are always smiling and happy to help. The rooms are amazing and Angela Saliba (the General Manager) is such a lovely lady. She is here to help and her staff are a credit to the brand. Our Honeymoon has been fantastic staying here, we have been looked after more than I could ever imagine. Whether you are coming here for business, a winter weekend away or a special occasion you will not be disappointed. My only wish is I had a suitcase big enough to take away the bed and pillows, haven't slept this well in ages!! Thank you Sheraton Kraków for making this special occasion so magical for us - we will definitely be seeing you again next year! Alex and Alison Knowles - Cambridge, UK
