"Lake Buena Vista by the pool"
Clean and friendly staff. Make sure to reserve a room on the inside. If u get a room that leads to the street be prepared to hear traffic at all hours of the night, even from the 6th floor. I've stayed here several times and the service is always the same.
"Great service but needs updating"
The hotel has an amazing location really close to Universal Studios. The room service manual is expensive and price accordingly the service was great even though the wait was over 45 minutes. We stayed here for a week and ate breakfast ever single morning at the restaurant. Brenda was attentive, helpful, always smiling& welcoming. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that during our five visits at the restaurant not one morning was our table touched by the manager nor we saw him helping with the restaurant management. Even when I wanted to complements the service the hostesshostess had to call for the manager to come from the back of the house. Overall we are happy with the experience and will definitely return and recommend this hotel to our friends.
"Good place to stay with family on a budget"
We brought our three kids and two dogs for a quick family vacation. I saw the mixed reviews and was nervous. Bottom line, this is a value hotel. It's not a resort. However, it's close to Disney, has tons of restaurants within walking distance, can comfortably fit 5-6 people (bunk beds for the kids plus a sofa sleeper and king bed), and has a nice pool area. From the street, the hotel looks fine. Close up, it's worn. the room we stayed in was redone but there are minor things that let you know this hotel has aged like sticking doors, loud A/C unit in the master bedroom, glaze on sliding door, and wear on ceiling. We spent our days at the parks and let the kids swim a few times. Everyone slept well. Not the most comfortable pillows, loud A/C unit woke me several times but I truly feel like this was a value for the money. The hotel not gross like other reviews indicate and if you read my other reviews, we enjoy staying at high end resorts. This hotel is not a resort, not somewhere I'd stay on business or if it was just my husband and I. It's safe, convenient and great for a family looking for space (very large rooms). TIP: Don't take the free shuttle unless you have to. It stops at multiple other hotels and then doesn't take you directly to the park and doesn't run as often as you'd think. We had to wait 45 minutes for a pick up and ended up calling an Uber which cost us what we would have paid to park (and we would have saved a ton of time!)
"Not bad - great budget choice"
We stayed here in Oct of 2016. Some areas were under construction. Lobby is nice - fully renovated. Rooms weren't bad, but the exterior was extremely dated. Parking was an additional cost (they didn't disclose this over the phone when I called to ask). No continental breakfast option, but for a $100/nt place, this is a decent option.
"Close to attractions"
This hotel is a great option on a budget. The room we stayed in had a really loud air conditioning unit, other than that it was clean and well kept. My daughter loved the pool and water slide, and the poolside bar and restaurant was a nice amenity as well. There was a free shuttle to the Disney attractions, and when we stayed late and missed the last bus back it was only a $10 Lyft ride from Epcot! I'd stay here again.
