"Great downtown location, nice service, well run."
Recently renovated, this hotel has a nice vibe. Corridors are wide and well lit. Rooms are thoughtfully designed, equipped with a refrigerator. If you can get the Club level, you'll have access to water, coffee/tea, breakfast, snacks, and a panoramic view. Fitness Club is also brand new.
"The Staycation with ease"
The construction is over and this place is beautiful! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Geovany who gave us the real deal on wonderful dining suggestions, local attractions and much more. I didn't have the heart to tell him that we are from LA and just enjoying a stay-cation. His hospitality was on point and his glasses frames are pretty dope too. You can tell that he's probably got great style and shows out on the weekends.Though they don't have a pool, they make up for it with a great bar and a very grown and sexy patio with cabanas and a fire place floating in between great views of DTLA. This location is in walking distance of may high end and easy on the pocket restaurants, LA Live (which we did walk from), a Whole foods, a Ralph's market, Riteaid, and anything else you think that you need. Please note that I am a plus size woman and none of the walking that we did to all the places listed (and many more) was not strenuous in any way. Most of the parts of DTLA that we visited was flat and made for easy walking. Last tip: The parking at the hotel is $42 per day. Yes, this is valet because they don't offer self parking. You can come and go as many times as you want for that cost. My boyfriend and I ,who stayed for 3 days, are not about that price tag. Across the street from the entrance of the hotel was a Joe's Parking lot that had much better prices. We paid a grand total of $25 to park for our entire stay. Though you can't come and go as you want, its still a bargain. This area of DTLA has so many Ubers that you can go to just about any part of the area for under $7 per trip for two people.
"Great experience for my wife's Birthday"
I am impressed with the service I received from Geovany. I explained we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. He upgraded us to a suite and everytime my wife and I passed through the lobby, he made it a point to greet us by name. I am a platinum member with Starwood hotels and experience many levels of service. This one is definitely top notch. Making someone feel at home in a hotel is not always an easy task. My wife and I appreciate the service we received from Geovany and the classy set up of this hotel
"Impressed with room and new upgrades"
I am always hesitant to stay at Sheratons since most of them are outdated. This hotel surprised me. The room is very modern and the bed is heavenly. The club lounge offers a great view of the city. The breakfast food is good. The happy hour needs improvement - upgrade the food and offer free drinks like other hotel club floors.
Love stopping by in the mornings to get coffee from Matt And Cynthia. Always pleasant and willing to accommodate any request! Prices are reasonable and actually cheaper than the "corner" locations throughout the city.
