"Very good location, good rooms, great service"
We stayed here in winter with 2 adults in one room and 2 teenage kids in another. The rooms were a good size (especially for Tokyo!) and very well maintained. The staff were attentive and the service was up to the excellent standards one comes to expect in Japan. There is a shuttle service to the JR Meguro station but there are two metro stations (Shirokanedai and Shirokane-Takanawa) within easy walking distance so we didn't end up using the shuttle. We will be staying here again when we return to Tokyo at the end of our trip and I am very glad we chose this hotel. Be sure to visit the nearby Happo-En garden which is just beautiful
Our family of 5 took 2 adjoining rooms for our last 2 nights in Tokyo. The rooms were well appointed and spacious for Japan hotels. We liked that there was a bath tub too. My only gripe was the lighting in the room was not adequate. Their regular shuttle bus to Meguro Station made commuting Super easy. We would stay here again.
"Second home in Tokyo"
Although the facility is old but well maintained so keeping quality better than its age. One of the best thing is having indoor Swimming pool with enough length and width which is not so common in Tokyo area.
"Great Concierge Service!"
I stayed at Sheraton Miyako before Christmas and I'm very pleasantly impressed by quality of their rooms (despite some reviews said that their rooms are old) and the high service quality this hotel offers. Although the hotel is not close to Shinjuku and Tokyo station, it is 4 mins away from the nearest subway station and they have a frequent shuttle service to Meguro station. The best thing about this hotel is the highly diligent concierge desk. We're very grateful for Ms. Sayuri-san's help in securing all the restaurant reservations for us and she has diligently print out directions for us. We'll definitely be back to stay at the same hotel next time around.
"Exceptional Service, friendly staff, great on site restaurants ++"
I rarely write hotel reviews, but felt very grateful to the Hotel Miyako for the excellent job they do. We recently stayed here for about a week. Our room like the entire property was spotless. The room was larger than we expected. Our King size bed was very comfortable. It is a very well managed hotel. The bamboo lounge had nice live Jazz. The breakfast in the Chinese restaurant was very good with a lot of delicious unusual options in addition to the standard items. Very good electronic barista station. about $ 20.00pp The location was a few minutes up a hill to the local subway , which was not ideal but the very frequent hotel shuttle goes to several local stations so it was not an issue.(tip: doors close 30 seconds before the departure time and its off at departure time). Taxis are always available and reasonable
