Nice personal, very friendly. The rooms clean and ergonomic. In my opinion, not acceptable on this level not to have free wifi in the rooms. Not only that, but if you pay for two hours(5€!!), you get two ours on the clock, not effective. So I had to look up a restaurant, 5€, two minutes surfing. I came back after four hours, wanted to check my mail, another 5€. It is not the money, but the idea. For the room price, I find internet access a must.
"Nice hotel, lots of noise"
I like the hotel. Its clean, people are friendly and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately I didn't sleep well due to the noise of the highway. The windows are rather old and do not filter noise well.
"Second leg of Central Europe"
This was a beautiful hotel, with large comfortable rooms in a busy section of Munich. It had a beautiful swimming pool and a wonderful breakfast. Really nice comfortable beds and a little terrace to step out onto and view the surrounding area. Great hotel. Oh, free wifi in the lobby.
"Excellent for business, but eat elsewhere..."
This is a nice, efficient hotel for the business traveler, or for the family that isn't expecting a lot of on-site facilities. There are great balconies with lovely views and cool breezes. The bathroom is beautiful and open, with glass overlooking the room. Taxi service here is a breeze and you're adjacent to food options, a bank, etc. If you find yourself needing a meal later in the evening, however, you'll be limited to the bar, which really has nothing on their menu (the sliders are very average...and that's almost the entire menu). There are two caveats that keep me from rating this 5 stars for its purpose. First, apparently the hallway smoke detectors are tripped by hot showers. I had the unpleasant experience of being hassled mid-shower by security at 3:30am for steam from my shower. That would have been fine, except he was very persistent about talking to me while I was wrapped up wet in a towel, not accepting speaking through the security bolt. I found that just awkward. Second, on higher floors you will hear a persistent and inescapable low frequency hum. This appears to come from the nearby power plant. I did not personally find it distracting enough to disturb my sleep or anything, but I am sure there are travelers that will find it bothersome.
"Great hotel for business"
I like to stay in this hotel even though there are several choices within Arabellapark area, The front desk is very efficient and prompt and if you are lucky, you can get a pretty good room without paying extra. Size of the room is more or less the same but if you stay at higher floor, you may be able to get one with a balcony.
