I visit for organize the Symposium, I had a very nice stay from excellence service (especially Khun Hiru Daryanani, and Khun Supanat Noykong who provide out standing service for all of our group of 50 Doctors), nice and clean room with premium amenities. Delicious and high quality food (all of breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee break). Everything perfect! Cheers!
My partner and I have stayed at this resort in Pattaya twice, I came for Scuba in Pattaya. It is a wonderfully nice place with a private beach. The style is villa-like. It is somewhat secluded from Pattaya itself, no loss as Pattaya has a seedy side. The restaurant choices are nothing to write home about but OK. Service is excellent in inimitable Thai fashion. There are motorised carts that take you to your room. On one occasion we waited a while. This hotel was rebranded from Sheraton this year. Sheraton's loss.
"Perfect for relaxation "
I stayed here for a very relaxing week using up some IHG points. I used the hotel car for transfers from the airport which was very well organised with water and wifi. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating, the room itself was gorgeous with an incredibly comfy bed and huge tub. The pools were very unique - the whole grounds with the rainforest-like feel were very well maintained and definitely a top feature. The bars were great, very quiet, but I was there during the off season. The restaurants had a great selection unfortunately one of the days there were huge tour group that had booked out the entire place so I had to get room service, and another day I managed to get food poisoning from some scallops, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. Would definitely recommend for people looking for a quiet getaway- but I imagine it can having a very different atmosphere if you go during high season.
"Seat back and relax !!"
I've been staying here for two night in the difference period! I was really impressed to all staff who were taking care upon I arrived at the entrance until the check in process is done. The room was bigger enough for one person stay like myself and the view has a really wonderful in the morning after woke up. All facilities were fully set up in room and even in the toilet as well. Very clean in room and public area through the resort, the infinity bar was really amazing in the evening time with testy foods at all. I was really joyful during my stay here and I would be returning back to stay again soon !!
"Not, a "peaceful oasis of serenity and natural spendour" as advertised"
This hotel was rebranded from a Sheraton to Intercontinental in the spring of 2016. Since then, the property has been under constant renovation with construction noise every day, almost all day. If that is not enough, the kitchen makes up for any lack of noise at night! Bottles clanking together and being loaded into recycle trucks for half an hour to an hour give way to the garbage truck arriving to pick up garbage for half an hour. Both of these events usually take place between 2 and 3 am and occur on different nights. If you’ve managed to get back to sleep from the previously mentioned noise, around 4:30 to 5am, there is loud banging at the kitchen with plastic bins being slammed on the ground outside and then half an hour later they are picked up and stacked noisily. Not enough noise yet' There’s always some dishes to be rattled. It’s as if the night shift resent their jobs and are trying to keep everyone awake! To be fair, not all the noise is as a result of the hotel staff or construction workers. Try to get a room that is not near to the private suites called Ocean Front Villas. Quite often the guests staying in these suites are too busy having loud pool parties and seem to have no regard for other hotel guests. On the positive side, the grounds are beautiful, but stick to the swimming pools as the ocean is polluted and not very safe for swimming.
