Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel is one mile to Arlington National Cemetery. Many attractions including the White House, Lincoln Memorial and the National Museum of Natural History are within a 10-minute drive of the hotel.
We enjoyed staying at the Sheraton. The staff was very friendly particularly the shuttle drivers. The only complaint is the breakfast was not very good. The waitress was good but the quality of the food was poor.Comment of V. Charlotte , United States the 2016-07-21
"Great place to stay"
Sheraton is a name synonymous with hospitality. I was lucky to meet one of the finest hospitality professionals. Needed some help getting around the place and was helped by the hotel staff. The check in was quick and the room was terrific.
"Clean, Upscale, Quiet & Accomodating"
We booked in advance via Expedia - we were travelling with a small dog and required a hotel that would accomodate this. The hotel was well located and easy to find. Parking was extra - but, it was underground, secured parking - a bit steep at $30 per night though. The staff at the front desk were polite and professional even though the booking was a bit mixed up as it went in under my name instead of the Expedia account owners name (i was on as a 2nd traveler) The hotel was very clean, and very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding/linens were fresh & clean. Overall a quiet location while we were there. We did not partake of the free breakfast - though we did enjoy the proximity to all the sites we wanted to visit while in town. There are no complaints from me on this place, Staff was great, Room was clean and comfortable and the facility was in good condition. For the price we paid for the 2 nights, we felt this was a good stay. We would stay again if in Washington DC ever again.
"Good location & nice service"
We went between Christmas & New Year, the receptionist was great she offered me if I enrolled to their loyalty program free parking and free wifi, the rooms are ok but a little bit aged, specially in the common areas. They also have a shuttle service that brings you to the nearest mall and metro station.
This hotel is all about the location! It is in a great spot for travelers. The hotel itself was very clean, not modern but not old at the same time. There was two wedding parties on one night and so the parking became an issue. It was still quiet nonetheless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was awesome, you could see all the important sights. I would go back as we had an a great price for the hotel. We did have a basic room so there was not microwave or small refrigerator which would have been nice. There is a pool with a GREAT view of DC at the top so be sure to bring your suit. Also, there is a daily fee for parking- but this is standard in DC. Overall we were very happy with your choice.
"Very, very tired hotel "
Stayed at this hotel for a group event and, while the event was good, the hotel was poor. The rooms are way over due for refitting. Carpets are dingy and smell of mould. Furniture is scratched and stained. However, the staff were friendly and the bathrooms were clean. The 'suites' have a large conference table in an adjoining room, not a separate seating area. Don't bother if you're traveling for pleasure. This would be a serviceable hotel if you're stuck in transit at DCA. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Time for refurbishing, folks!
