"Nice hotel. Great service "
Stayed on the club floor. Nice size room and access to the club lounge. All the staff is super nice, friendly and most of them speak English :) Free shuttle to take you locally (metro, shopping) and there are hotel specific taxis to take you throughout town at great rates. Also an airport shuttle is available. Room is a little dated but more classic than old.
"Decent hotel in the middle of an office and shopping complex"
The hotel is fairly modern and has a nice lobby. The rooms are clean and spacious as is the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. There's a nice pool and a gym. Breakfast is decent but not great. Although new, the hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear but all in all a good choice in a safe part of town and very convenient to shopping.
"Great location, hotel older than its years"
If you have business in the Berrini or Morumbi area, this is a great hotel option. But be prepared for a hotel that looks and feels older than its age. The rooms are good size with comfortable bed and the general layout gives you good options for resting and working. The lounge on the 15th floor is small compared to other hotel chains. They cram the morning breakfast onto two tables and a room on the other side of the hall handles provides room for excess capacity. Unlike other lounges, access to off-hour snacks and drinks is hit and miss. I asked for a soda during breakfast and they shook their heads wondering how to fulfill my request. I also had the chance to use the fitness room, which was adequately furnished. Getting there, however, was a meandering around their restaurant and pool - not very good design.
"A Comfortable Stay at Sao Paulo."
This was a business trip and my first visit to Brazil from India. Obviously, it is always a worry to find a comfortable yet a convenient place on a foreign land, that ways Sheraton WTC Hotel was a perfect find. Centrally located, English speaking staff and being part of a larger World Trade Center shopping arcade gives this property an added advantage. I had checked myself in the Classic category of rooms, which is quite large with King sized beds, ample lighting and decor and an en-suite 3 fixture toilet. The minibar is well stocked and the room amenities are well thought of keeping the business traveler in mind. The food choices were limited (being a vegetarian) and the breakfast spread was just about adequate. However, wished it had a wider spread, considering it was Sheraton Group. The check-in and check-out process was really hassle free. The room services were swift and properly attended to. The property was well secured and the front desk was always attentive to the guest needs. All in all, a very comfortable stay at Sao Paulo. Obrigado!
"Shockingly Shabby Sheraton "
I was on an SPG Floor that felt like a time warp to 1977. My room was clean, but it was depressingly dismal looking and old. I was told the hotel was at full capacity and that there were no other options. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, but it was a shock to stay in a room for a week so badly in need of a renovation. The guest rooms looked better on the "club" floor; I just lost the lottery with mine and would not recommend this property to business travelers. SPG status doesn't translate for the business here I'm afraid.
