"Love the location on the beach"
Friendly staff and handy location right on the beach. Easy to get to with a taxi or rental car. The breakfast is great and executive lounge is perfect in the evenings. Nice desk and work area in the rooms with fast wifi.
"Great 5 star hotel just over the sand !"
I was there just a few weeks ago, I do recommend this hotel just over the sand with a great swimming pool public complex nearby, lot´s of restaurants and a safe surroundings. The room was great...sea view is amazing. The staff is very professional and always available. Great quality for the cost.
"Good service, small rooms"
It's over priced and old, but the service is good and the rooms are comfortable (but very all). Breakfast is very good. Over priced, but you pay for the location. It's Tel Aviv and on the beach! It really needs a make over, but the hotel makes the best of what they have. It's really ok.
"Great hotel on the beach!"
My husband and I stayed 8 nights in the Renaissance Tel Aviv. This was our first trip to Israel. Our flight got in early in the morning and after a long flight, we really wanted to rest, so we were worried that we wouldn't be able to get into our room at ~9:30 am. Luckily, the front desk staff was very accommodating and got us into a room right away. We were on the 15th floor (2nd from the top) and had a great balcony view of both the beach and the city. We were in a room that had not yet been remodeled (we could have waited to check into a remodeled room, but didn't want to). There was some remodeling going on during the day in the hotel, but we barely heard it, just a noise here and there. The room was dated, but functional. The bathroom was small and didn't have an adequate fan, so it totally fogged up when taking a shower, but was otherwise fine. There was a minibar (with no personal storage space) and a safe. The bed was comfortable. I'm not sure what is changing with the remodeling though. We only utilized the restaurants once for the breakfast, which was about $25 per person and was a huge buffet. Everything there was delicious. We did not use the pool or spa. The hotel is right on the beach though, so we were able to walk right out the back door and onto the beach. Note though, that they lock the beach access door fairly early (5 or 6 pm, I believe) and after that you'll have to walk around to the front of the hotel to get back inside.
All rooms have a balcony with beach view but ask for one on a high floor facing off the main road. Great bar and beach access.Walking distance from some good bars and great restaurants. Try Mikes Place for international beers and sports and also walk 20 minutes along the beach to Manta rays. Amazing seafood, unbeatable beach views, and great atmosphere. The staff are polite, welcoming and helpful. The usual Marriott touches are welcome and the bar and pool have fantastic views on the beach
