Just stayed here great recognition for gold elite members unlike other hotels in tel aviv now with mobile app check in i got an early check in confirmed before i even got to the hotel got an upgrade it took less than one minute to get my room key staff very friendly room very nicely kept if a bit on the small side and although very clean foundbathroom a bit dated great breakfast with plenty of staff to help you and a nice indoor pool the only reason i didnt give it 5stars is the price i paid
"Great location/Marriott feel"
We were here the Saturday of Purim this year and it was a perfect location and room for my son and I. The staff was exceptional and friendly, helping me park the car, directions to Sarona Market and local eating locations. Wish that I had known that the backdoor to the beach closed at 6pm, would have helped after a long day of walking. And, as a Marriott Gold member was not given a room at the Executive Level. Room was similar to one in Manhattan, twin beds that were pushed together for a double, but all the amenities were there - great toiletries, blow dryer, bath robe, iron, ironing boards, lots of outlets. BEST was the view from the room- of the beach, small balcony that was delightful when the room was too warm.
"Great location on the beach!"
Helpful staff, beautiful location on the beach, spectacular view from rooms. Easy access to city by taxi or walking in the area. Their restaurant Gordo on the beach is a nice place after a long day of touring if you want something close. Will stay there again.
I've stayed in a LOT of Renaissance properties and even more Marriott hotels. Compared to other Renaissance, this one is average. At best. The rooms are in great need of a full update and they are currently redoing rooms. The 7th floor is all new and they are working on 5-6 now. Can't come soon enough! The staff were just OK. Most could not even say hello. Groups standing around. Security was not great. Even though there is a guy posted at the front door he never once asked for a room number or room key. Walk next door to the Crowne Plaza and you won't even get in the door. Also the room doors are quite thin. They don't provide any sense of security. We had access to the lounge and it was below average. Always out of coffee cups and the breakfast was not great. Juice was bad. We tried breakfast in the restaurant and it was much better. Also, the rooms were HOT. We got a fan sent up but sill quite warm. Only the HEAT was on for the whole hotel and you can NOT adjust temperatures from your room! Maid staff were not great either. They really just put our pillows back on the bed, and hung up our towels. Location is the high point of this hotel. Excellent spot right on the beach. I expected more from the hotel. 3 stars is a gift.
"Great view, ok rooms, right on the beach"
The individual balconies make up for a lot. I wish there had been a way to regulate the temperature, but with the door open the breeze from the Mediterranean made sleeping totally comfortable. Nice size room, nicely appointed. Great beach access, nice gym.
