Très agréablement supris de la beauté de cet hôtel, très bien situé au cœur de Vancouver, à pieds de plusieurs attractions, service courtois et professionnel, je le recommande absolument!Comment of J. Salima , Canada the 2015-03-28
A very nice experience with excellent staff and good facilities. The room was small for this type of hotel but very adequate fir our needs. A nocturnal neighbour could be heard but not to the extent that caused sleep loss.Comment of H. Adrian , New Zealand the 2015-01-13
I stayed at this hotel in November 2014 for 3 nights. Traveling from England, I was inpressed with the service. I got upgraded to a better class room on the 24th floor with a road, mountain and sea view. Perfect location for site seeing, shops and places to eat.Comment of D. "This surpasses or at least equals some of the world's better hotels"
I have been very fortunate in travelling on business to some fine hotels in many parts of the world, and quite a few are in Vancouver. None are better than this one. The two hotel towers are beautiful buildings with spacious rooms and spectacular views, particularly from the higher floors as you'd expect in Vancouver, but it's the lower floors that deliver the surprise: The gardens are spectacular at ground level! All along Burrard Street at the base of the North and South Towers, the flowers, trees, hedges and lawns are immaculate and very much a major part of what turns out to be a very pleasant stay. It's right in the centre part of Vancouver, and parking is available at $30 per day, which, in this city, is actually a good deal. Truly impressive! And kudos to Jeff, the manager of Club Sheridan; a friendly, most helpful and informative gentleman.
"Nice room, a few issues"
Stayed on a very busy weekend in early September. First, the good: - very nice location - nice renovated room with nice view, even from a low floor The not so good: - upon check in, staff did not ask if I needed a parking pass. Of course I didn't know I needed one either, which ended up being a problem when I tried to leave and was told I needed one. - one keycard didn't work, which was a problem when my wife left and I couldn't get into the room. Problem was exacerbated by the fact the front desk line was 5 people deep. - related to that, found some of the staff to be somewhat cold/unfriendly when I told them about the issue. Overall I found the staff to be a mixed bag overall. - had to wait 5-10 minutes for the elevator several times. Overall an average experience. Was my second time staying here but I think I'll try something else the next time I'm in Vancouver.
"What a view"
This hotel is something. We had the bubble on our truck, we got to park in an area where we fit with the height. The garage , parking man was kind and great doing his job. The room is great, what a view. We saw condos next to hotel. We were up high in the hotel and we saw through bedrooms and living rooms of condos on the streets. The pool was fun. Access to club lounge was great. We ate so well! Will stay there again ! Great location! Overall great ! Great city Vancouver!
"Beautiful hotel "
We spent one night here after running the Vancouver Nightrace around Stanley park. It was a 15 dollar cab ride to the park. We had a west facing room. The outside wall was windows floor to ceiling we could see the north shore mountains all the way to kitsalano/ ubc. We had a king sized bed and they provide cots for our kids. Nice indoor pool and fitness Center. There was a farmers market one block from the hotel and robson street was only a couple blocks away. Nice weekend getaway.
"Poor value considering the cost....should be better"
I stayed for over a week for a conference. The location is very good, nearby transport links as well as ok distances to some main areas, but not quite at the heart of the busy bits, if that is what you want. Welcome was ok, a mix up with who was paying for the rooms - well not really a mix up, more like a lack of communication from the hotel. So not a great start. They have 2 towers, one that is most pictures and with gas all the food and drink bits. The other has no facilities fir food or drink in the lobby area. First night found sheets were stained and thought bathroom products should be better, or at least branded. No shower gel, only provided old fashioned soap. Room was tidy, bed was good, views excellent. Water was complimentary but never put in the mini fridge which was empty. Arrangement of the room was strange as desk faced wall as opposed to making the most of the views. All lights have their own switches, so if you forget one, you to get out of bed to switch off...should have control near bedside. Air condition ok in day but far too noisy at night. Service was ok, bar area was good, reception areas not so good. Claims to be luxury but why is internet so slow....need to pay stupid amount for it to be faster
