Centrally located in Waikiki, this resort is right next to Waikiki Beach as well as world-class shopping and dining. Diamond Head crater, or Leahi as it is known in Hawaiian, is located just three miles from the resort. The moderate hike to the top takes approximately 45 minutes—but is well worth the memories that will last a lifetime.
We loved staying at the Sheraton, the room was great and the service of the staff was amazing. We ate out most if the time and explored the surrounding shopping precinct. There was lots to do and eat and it was all very close and central. This was our Honeymoon and when we wanted to do something the concierge was very helpful in organising things for us to do. Particularly Aiko Storm was magnificient.Comment of V. Nicholas , Australia the 2016-09-04
Perfect hotel for relaxation. Swimming pools provide great experience for both kids and adults. Most rooms provide great views of the ocean, but oceanfront rooms were brilliant. Bathrooms are adequate and property is very well maintained and clean. Various food options available on site and chargeable back to your room. Well located and centrally located on the beach front.Comment of E. Richard , Australia the 2016-08-01

"Great location with amazing views of Waikiki Beach"
This legendary hotel is a Waikiki icon. A terrific location and nice spacious rooms with spacious decks. The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, and the rooms have seen lots of wear and tear.....but nothing to really complain about. Be sure that you ask for a room with a view, as you won't be disappointed when you walk in and see your room and the view, and gasp "Wow"! Overall, I would recommend the hotel, primarily due to its location and dramatic views. In general, the staff was friendly and attentive, but a couple of incidents definitely rubbed me the wrong way: 1. I was looking forward to enjoying a class Mai Tai drink on my first day there, so I headed over to the Edge poolside bar. The $18 price for their signature drink was a bit shocking, but hey it's not everyday that you're in paradise. The bar wasn't overly crowded and I easily bellied up to it and began to wait patiently. The 3 bartenders standing in the pit were not serving anybody, so I figured they would quickly notice me an take my order. Instead, they apparently could care less about paying customers and remained engaged in their conversation about who was the first one getting cut from the current shift. This went on for several annoying minutes. I wasn't up for waiting for the rude bartenders to take my order, so I ended up walking down the beach path to Dukes Bar instead. They happily took my money. 2. My other gripe was that the pool side staff is a little bit too eager in policing the lounge chairs. I realize that many uncaring people try to claim a chair and leave a towel on it for the entire day. This results in a daily problem of lounge chair shortage. Upon getting up for a quick restroom break, I quickly returned to my chair within 5 minutes only to find a "ticket" on it warning me that next time they find my chair unoccupied they would remove all belongings on the chair, so that it could be made available for someone else. I understand the reasoning, but it would nice if they were to distinguish between: not using chair for 5 minutes vs. not using chair for 60 minutes.... Other than that, it's all thumbs up for the Sheraton Waikiki!
We have been coming to this hotel for a well deserve break. We have been getting a beautiful view of Waikiki with the Diamond Head. Kids do enjoy the pool and some added attractions. The whole family will definitely come back.
"The best resort in Waikiki"
An amazing 6 days from start to finish for our family at the Sheraton. We loved the central location, onsite amenities and the size of the Kia suite that accommodated all 5 of us in comfort. The free access to the club room with the suite meant we didn't need to pay for breakfast each morning. Definitely will be returning very soon.
"Nice Experience - Classic Waikiki"
Stayed for three nights on business at the Sheraton. The hotel is very busy, but I did not experience any issues with elevators, the fitness center, or wifi. The room is small, but nicely apportioned and had a lovely view of the beach and Diamond Head. Parking was simple too. In all, if you want to stay in Waikiki, this is a very good choice!
"Infinity Pool (Jones)"
We stayed at the Sheraton for our 4 year Anniversary and we had the BEST time!! The service was great and we especially enjoyed our days at the Infinity Pool. Not only was it so beautiful but we also met Jones, he was so amazing, referred us to the best restaurants, zip lining and hikes. We looked forward to seeing him everyday because he was also so happy and helpful! We can't wait to book our next trip at the Sheraton!!
