Centrally located in Waikiki, this resort is right next to Waikiki Beach as well as world-class shopping and dining. Diamond Head crater, or Leahi as it is known in Hawaiian, is located just three miles from the resort. The moderate hike to the top takes approximately 45 minutes—but is well worth the memories that will last a lifetime.
Perfect hotel for relaxation. Swimming pools provide great experience for both kids and adults. Most rooms provide great views of the ocean, but oceanfront rooms were brilliant. Bathrooms are adequate and property is very well maintained and clean. Various food options available on site and chargeable back to your room. Well located and centrally located on the beach front.Comment of E. Richard , Australia the 2016-08-01

Room average but service and facilities fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great view of the ocean which was just beautiful. Had a great time. We will definitely come back to Hawaii and bring our kids with us next time.
"Styling at the Sheraton Waikiki"
My wife and I plus two friends spent a pleasurable week at the Sheraton. Our room was very comfortable, we had asked for and received an Ocean view room which is highly recommended. Panoramic views of Waikiki beach extending to Diamond Head are breathtaking each time you go on to your balcony. The specialty shops at ground level offer quality merchandise at a reasonable price. Staff and facilities are first class. Our only disappointment was assuming that we could book a room at the end of our island cruise on the Pride of America. There are so many tourists that we were unable to secure a room on our return. Note if you are intending to stay in Waikiki after a cruise or other excursion book at the same time as your initial booking to avoid disappointment.
Let's just say that there is nothing outstanding about this hotel. It's is like all other hotels in this price range and location. It's is clean, modern, and staff is friendly and attentive. There are stores, restaurants, and bar on property. Funny, our favorite was the pizza place, good food, decent value. There are plenty of places within walking distance to this hotel. One thing we found a plus. One of those place was Duke's, they had a great breakfast buffet for around $18 a person, compared to the $30 a person buffet at the Sheraton. Here are a couple of other things you need to know if you stay or thinking about staying. 1) Our room was on the west side of the hotel with a partial ocean view. 16th floor, it over looked another hotel, streets and parking garage. Every morning starting at 5 am we could hear every truck and bus backing up. Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, then the engines reeving up as they drove away. Every morning . So if you are an early riser, this room is for you, but don't plan on sleeping in. 2) The chairs around the pools are packed so tight, there is no room in between them. So you get real cozy with strangers sitting there half naked in the sun. Sounds fun, but not really when you have to sit next to pigs. 3) We used the laundry room. OMG, disgusting. Hot, smelly and dirty. I've been in clean laundry mats in the ghetto. Serious, it was neglected, No fun. My wife was not happy about sitting there in such crappy conditions. Over all the rest of the place is nice. For the price and value, nothing knocked our socks. Just another upscale hotel in a prime location.
"Sheraton Waikiki Stay"
During my stay at the Sheraton Waikiki, the hotel employees made the trip that much more enjoyable. Nova and the wait staff at the Kai Market restaurant were friendly and we appreciated the conversations we had with them. Moreover, the staff at the Leahi Lounge, particularly Damien, Melee, Natalia, Grace, Mala, and David, were great. They were so friendly and engaging, which made the Lounge a great place to relax. The view from the Lounge was spectacular and everything from start to end during the stay was great!
I'm very happy for stay 6 day this hotel. Hotel staff everybody have a good service with customer. I like pool here. Good memery time for honeymoon trip & present for my birthday from my husband. Thank you so much.
