"Saw a few good days in Warsaw."
The best thing about the Sheraton Warsaw is its location: Centrum is a handy place to be. And it's away from the more touristy bits of Old Town. If it's a comfortable, typical business atmosphere stay you would like in someplace central, then this is the ideal place. The one wish I have is that they could charm up the interior (both lobby and rooms) so that it's not so...businessy. Just to make it a little more special. All boxes ticked otherwise: friendly welcoming staff, comfortable beds and rooms, good breakfast, and a pretty decent bar with some good live music, although ask for a quieter room as noise travels from the bar up to some floors.
Everything is as I would expect for this range of hotel. My room was calm and comfortable. The staff helpful. Food very average though and I admit I expected a bit better in this respect. A bit far from downtown and old town.
"Business Trip in Style"
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was well kept and had all the amenities you could need. A thoroughly enjoyable stay with great service. A selection of restaurants on site with great food and well positioned for a walk through Warsaw
"Friendly staff, central location, nice room"
I have stayed here several times and I used to live in Warsaw. The rooms are nicely decorated. I haven't heard any noise from adjoining rooms. There are blackout curtains which really help in the summer months. During or most recent stay we were with our baby daughter. The staff at the olive restaurant were amazing and helped settle our daughter when she started crying. That meant we were able to eat our starters - thank you! I will stay here again when in Warsaw.
"Not a great place for SLEEP"
I was going to rate this hotel with a 2, but I gave them a 3 for two reasons. One, they have good staff who are efficient, and they have excellent food. I stayed for a conference and they did a banquet for us that was truly amazing in food quality. Also, it is located in a decent spot. The reason I did not like this hotel is I could not sleep. I could hear the people in the room above me partying and laughing until 5:30am every night, I could hear the bed springs in the room next to me getting tested out by the couple in there, and until 1:30 in the morning, I could also hear the band playing, two floors below me at the bar. I cannot believe how sound travels through that hotel. It made for the worst nights of sleep that I have had at a hotel in a few years... After three nights there, I was so happy to be leaving to go to my own place. I will definitely try another place next time I go to Warsaw. It should be pretty easier to have a better experience than that. Also, Thursday night ,they had a 'Live Karaoke Singer,' which I never get into, so I avoided the bar on Thursday and went to other places. I saw the band Friday night, and they were ok. While trying to sleep on Saturday, without wanting to, I heard them again, doing the same songs as the previous night, practically shaking the floor of my room as I tried to sleep. If you are going to have music two nights in a row, I suggest booking a band that knows enough songs to play different shows every time, or just using a different band on different nights of the week. I think the hotel can afford to explore either of these options. Another option to explore would be sound proofing. I truly like that the hotel books live bands, and they honestly are not THAT loud, but like I said, I could hear conversations from upstairs, and other things going on from rooms around me all the time...
