"Only spent one evening, but hotel value, accomodations, location, and staff were excellent."
I want to thank Jean Charlemagne in particular for his assistance in retrieving and returning to me materials that I had inadvertently left in my room safe. Jean was courteous, professional, and very helpful. He promptly checked the safe, returned my call, provided the necessary instructions via email so that I could receive my materials; they arrived on time. Excellent customer service; an employee that the Morgan Group should recognize.
"Nice but service lower...but I would stay here again"
Beautiful Hotel Club right off a hidden path in South Beach Miami. Looks like the place needs some touch ups. Service in the pool area is very slow. Service in the restaurant next to the pool area is very good. We have stayed at other Morgan Group Hotels - i.e. London and this one is needing some help as of late. But it is still a must see. 4 out 5 Stars.
"Amazing Hotel & Excellent Customer Service"
I stayed here last weekend not expecting much as I usually stay at the larger named hotels, like the Fountainbleu and Eden Roc. We decided to book here to have a new experience and everything about it was wonderful! The staff was exceptional and the views were amazing. Upon check in we were upgraded for free to a loft suite and it was gorgeous. The hotel was very lively and the pool staff was very attentive. Only negative was our phones were stolen out on the beach after dark, but it was not on hotel property. I would only recommend after dark to stay on hotel grounds. There is plenty to do and enjoy by the pool and bars available. I will definitely love to go back! Amazing hotel!
The hotel overpass my expectations. Its location is great. They gave us a room with a partial view of the ocean and the view was spectacular. I recommend you this hotel. On my the next trip I'm going to stay here.
"Run down place at a great location"
Compared to the other hotels on Collins Avenue South Beach, this is a relatively cheap place to stay. And the location is great. Close to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road mall (walking distance). The flip side is that the hotel is totally run down. Any time soon the hotel will be closed and renovated. And this renovation is desperately needed. I stayed in this hotel 12 years ago and it was a vibrant, happening and beautiful hotel. So it was a disappointment returning to this place 10 years later. The facilities are old, run down and dirty. All the restaurants, shops, sky bar were closed and empty. The fitness centre was very dirty and contained very old equipment. The beds around the pool are full of stains. Our rooms were ok, the bedding was good. However the room was not very clean either. The tap of the bath was falling apart. We had to ask 3 times whether they could clean our room, when we returned to our room at 16hrs. There was very limited staff available and they were not very attentive, so service was to an absolute minimum. According to the news the laid-off 218 workers in May and it was noticable. It must be said that the staff at the reception and the concierge were helpful and friendly. So if you need a relatively cheap place to stay in South Beach and you don’t mind run down facilities, it could be an option.
