"Great stay in a nice hotel "
Handy for the office and nice and clean. Breakfast was ok but did offer a great range of food to cater for all. Rooms are comfortable and ideal for work. Rooms have minibar but also bottled water. Recommend!
"Good Value for money"
I have stayed several times in their sister hotel , Silken Puerta America and love it . The Hotel Puerta Madrid I must say was very good , rooms were clean confortable and well equipped , the restaurant was ran in a very disorganized way , no one to greet you had to wait 5 to 10 minutes to get talked to , no one around ( really no one ) until the "encargado" came around then he was polite and helpful but no coordination in anything. After that , what i ordered was the Steak Tartare that was very nice , as they said it was different from the traditional one but I really enjoyed that. My Wife had the Baby Chicken and that was "oK" not great but acceptable. The transportation from Atocha tran station was not useful and could meet the times that we needed ,the transfer to the airport in the morning was much better. I general the hotel was good the services were not organized .For the price it was good
"Great hotel and very well located (for business travellers)"
I've been to this hotel during a business travel and really enjoyed it. The accommodations are nice, very clean, modern and really comfortable. I've seen comments here regarding the bad service -- frankly speaking it was OK for me, no problems at all when it comes to the desk or breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast is also very nice with lots of local food, fruits and breads. And very reasonable price: EUR 89 for a queen bed room, breakfast incl. (granted, I got a special discount due to a business event in the city). Also, it's close to the airport and Convention Center, so no hassle here. For tourists it might be a bit of a problem as it is a bit far away from the city center. I personally recommend it and would come back again!
"Good for Business"
Good business hotel, quite cheap but far away from the center of Madrid. Good restaurant, with kind waiters. Alternative bars and local restaurants are at 5 min walking from the hotel. Except this, there is nothing else in the surrounding areas. 20 min driving from the airport..
"Very good hotel for this price !"
The hotel is price -quality a very good hotel . The breakfast was very good ,huge choice of fruit ,cookies ,but the eggs can be warmer .Very good coffee also . The service at the breakfast ,rest and bar in the lobby are excellent . The beds are too hard for me and i think the mattresses in 309 where too old . For the rest ,the rooms are beautiful and clean . The only thing ,the carpets in the hallways at 3th etage are totally damaged an has to be renewed because the first look when you go to your room , i find it must be perfect ! Thanks for everything you have done for us ,also the shuttle service is perfect!!!
