This is our second stay at the Sivatel, and it does not fail to impress. Total professional service from the time you step out of your taxi, you are warmly greeted, your luggage is taken care of swiftly, everyone speaks a high level of English, and everything is effortless and smooth. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to everything, and if you prefer to catch the Skytrain anywhere, the station is only a very short walk. The rooms are extremely clean, well fitted and spacious. The living area is large and well equipped, the living area has a comfortable sofa, table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a well lit desk to work on. Both the living and bedroom area’s have individual air conditioner controls. The bed is super comfortable, the linens high quality and fresh, there is also a pillow menu available for the fussiest sleeper. The rooms are large, spacious and have modern television sets which are set up as full entertainment/communication systems which have keyboards, great screens, WIFI in both the living and bedroom areas. The bathrooms are large and clean with lovely toiletries and an abundance of towels and added useful times like bathroom scales. The breakfast area is awesome. Broad range of food items to choose from to cater for all taste buds. Great coffee, fantastic omelette chef, efficient and speedy wait staff with attentive service and a great view of Bangkok whilst you are eating your breakfast. I tried the day spa which is really good value and wonderful service. I have no complaints, the Sivatel ticks all the boxes and I will return yet again.Comment of G. Ian , Australia the 2016-01-10
We stayed in the Regal Suite and it was amazing!! The infinity pool on the 8th floor is also fantastic! I would say the price of drinks are quite high in comparison with other places and if you want to be closer to the main tourist attractions, perhaps look for a hotel on the river but this is still a great hotel.
"A low key but amazing hotel"
We have a group of 4 so we booked Regent Suite with two bedrooms. It is terribly HUGE! The beds are comfortable and large, simply love it. We like the reception floor - we had to catch a flight in the afternoon after check-out so we stayed at the reception floor. There were comfy sofas, coffee machine and Thai snacks for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is included and there are a wide range of food to choose from. It is next to the pool which looks nice but a shame that we didn't use it.
"Friendly staff & the condition of room was not maintained well"
The cleanness of the room is very important during the stay in hotel. The hotel room was big and cosy. However, I was so disappointed about the cleanness of the bath room. The shower area and the bath tube were a bit dirty. The amenities were not replaced daily, such as hygien bag, cotton & cotton buts pack. Moreover, the water supply was very slow. I spent more than half a hour to fill the bath tube. The bath tube was also blocked. The water running out was extremely slow too. I would like to complement the concierge's staff. They were very freidly and helpful to handling with my enquiry.
"Excellent location and fabulous room"
We stayed at Room 2510. Spacious room with bathroom having both shower and bath facilities. Water pressure and temperature was not so consistent. View was great. Infinity pool by the breakfast area on Level 8. Wifi fairly strong with minimal drop out. Lovely check in/out area on Level 17. Complimentary drinks and snacks. Staffs were courteous 8.5/10
