"The staff makes the stay..."
I stayed her from August 31- September 04th 2016. I previously stayed here when the hotel was Sofitel. During my stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations. This impacted my review of course. Notwithstanding, I had an enjoyable time here. The restaurant is still nice. The staff made the stay pleasant, especially Jonathan, one of the front desk reservations officers. It's always nice to have someone remember your name (every time). I will definitely stay again.
"Stay between flights"
This used to be a Sofitel but is now a Pullman. There is a very efficient shuttle between the hotel and the airport. On arrival, our Club Accor status was recognised and we were upgraded to a superior room. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, despite the proximity to the airport (our room overlooked a runway). We didn't have breakfast but there is a Starbucks in the lobby for those who want a proper coffee. The bar and public areas are also very pleasant. All in all, everything you would expect from a hotel in this category, except perhaps and executive lounge.
"Nice Airport Hotel"
A nice hotel about 5 minute drive from Miami International Airport. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room size was ok, clean and had everything we needed for a quick stay. We were on the 10th floor, which had great views. A good hotel that I would recommend for a short stay close to Miami airport.
Easy hotel to find from Miami Airport ,especially after a long flight from London. A very helpful bellboy with our luggage ,he even parked our car for us. Went out of his way to make us welcome. I am afraid that stopped at reception checking in desk. We had prepaid our hotel reservation on line ,and had documentation with this clearly marked. This was dismissed and told we had to pay again,as they stated we had not paid. There was no sorry let us sort this out for you ,in fact in my opinion they were rude. In the end my husband was able to prove on line banking this had been paid 6 months earlier. We emailed the hotel after a request on how was your stay. We had a reply from Carlos Estrada . We have since emailed back several times and still no reply . So disappointed as this is not the usual American standard. Also the hotel itself is good ,clean room ,great parking ,and staff other than check in very helpful.
"A reasonable choice"
Spent one night here while enroute to a vacation destination. It certainly filled the bill for us, very nice staff and rooms. Restaurant choices are limited but adequate, typical hotel meal prices of course. Bartender in the lobby bar (ALan') was great and really seemed to enjoy his work. We opted for two standard beds instead of waiting for a king to get made up....in hindsight might have been a mistake. Beds were overly soft. There are a lot of hotel choices near/around the Miami airport so attention to detail is important. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the the room but only one tea and one Decaf Coffee capsule. We called the front desk who said that they only have decaf available....which didn't make a lot of sense. And it would have been nice to have a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner....not two bottles of conditioner. Small things yes, but they do make a difference in the final analysis.
