"The place to stay in Wroclaw "
If you plan to go to Wroclaw in Poland you should really consider staying at Sofitel. It is close to the market square where you have lots of restaurants, lovely atmosphere and it is in walking distance from all the places you should visit. The hotel is not 5 star, but it is cosy and friendly. It has seen better days, and I have to admit I'm spoiled in many ways in regards to hotels and service, but again this is still what I consider the best hotel in Wroclaw. Sofitel has a very good restaurant, lovely breakfast and a menu for lunch/dinner with many options.
"Hotel Sofitel.... Class"
Lovely hotel. Lovely staff and great food. Came to Wroclaw for the second time and this time stayed here. And so glad we did. It is clean and fresh. The food is a delight and the bar pleasant. Breakfast isnt 85 zl, well it is for a continental, but for an english fry up it is arond 30 zl, about 6 pound. Book here if you are going to Wroclaw, you will not be disappointed. Dave x
"Nice city centre hotel"
I have stayed in Sofitel Wroclaw twice this year. Staff are polite and helpful, breakfast has a good range. The reasons I have not awarded a 5 star review is due to the room decor which had stains etc and the very poor room service, which after 1hr of waiting I had to cancel.
Best placed hotel in Wroclaw. Seconds to the main square (and what a square) All other areas of interest are all so walkable. Hotel is clean and modern (didn't understand dated reference in one review) Reception and staff all so friendly Rooms fully equipped (hello nespresso) and clean. Breakfast impressive Gym/spa if you need Great value Enough said.
"Best hotel location in Wroclaw"
This was our first trip to Wroclaw and it didn't disappoint. Very good value for money - between €1 and €3 for a pint of beer or glass of wine and food was also similar. Taxi from the airport to the hotel was 70 zloty at weekends and 50 on week days. We visited in late November when the Christmas markets were open and this is by far the best time to visit and literally only 500 yards from the hotel. The markets are large with a good variety of items for sale, not to mention food and mulled wine. There are three large modern shopping centers near the hotel all with the big brands at good prices. The hotel is modern and impressive, we found the staff very friendly at all times. There was an issue with our room key which took at day to resolve but the hotel porter made sure we had access to our room at all times. Bottled water is replenished in your room every day. The hotel has a wellness center with a Jacuzzi, relaxation room and gym While we heard the breakfast and food in the hotel is excellent, we didn't eat or have breakfast as there much better value outside the hotel. There are two old world bars near the hotel which are worth a visit (turn right as you leave the hotel and 200 yards on your right (opposite the church) and on your left (in the courtyard of the church. The hotel is the most central we saw for access to the markets, old town and restaurants/ bars.
