"Nice hotel in the center of ROme"
I've been in this Hotel in Rome with my wife and we choose this hotel for the strategic position (5 min by walk to Trevi and to MEtro piazza Barberini) and reasonable price. With the space available (not so much), I think they did maximum what they could do. Room are a bit small but cleaned. Bathroom is ok and cleaning service also. Personnel is always available to help or clarify any issue/concern.
"Stay Elsewhere "
This hotel has no right claiming 4 stars. The first thing they fail to mention on the website is how not all of the rooms are located in the main building. We were sent to a room in an old building across the street, nothing boutique about that. The walls are paper thin so don't expect to get much rest as you hear every door slam, toilet flush, and dish washing from the terrible breakfast buffet. If you don't have the breakfast included, don't waste your money on it. The same lady who just cleaned the bathroom of a guest room comes out to make your coffee. That is, if you're lucky enough to get your room cleaned. We needed 15 minutes before leaving the room one day, but housekeeping said they couldn't wait (this was before 12pm). Also, make sure you bring all your toiletries since none are provided, something that does not represent a 4 star or boutique hotel. Lastly, not sure where the art is, unless you consider all the filth on the walls as captured in the pic. Only pro here is the location, but there are plenty more hotels in the same area you can choose from.
+ great location + excellent wi-fi signal - The hotel is seperated in 2 diferrent buildings. The second one is across the street in the first floor of a quite old building that has no reception. If you need something during the night there is nobody there, you have to get down and cross the street to the reception of the first bulding. - Fairly poor breakfast for a 4* hotel. They even keep the cake that remains and serve it the next day. - we stayed 4 days and they didn't clean the bedroom at all. After a couple of days you could see the floοr really dirty with hair and stuff not to mention that we had to ask them in order to bring us some extra toilet paper or shampoo which they finally didn't bring us at all. At least they changed towels every day. I wouldn't recommend that hotel. It's very expensive for what really offers.
"average "boutique hotel" No atmosphere."
We found ourselves "upgraded" to this hotel upon arrival at Hotel Trevi Collection which is five minutes walk away. The room was clean and bright and perfectly adequate. We had a kingsize bed but we found it very hard and quite uncomfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space with free safe. Small minibar provided but no prices available. Large bathroom with good size shower which was cleaned daily with fresh towels but had to ask twice for more toilet paper! Overall the room was perfectly adequate for 3 night stay. My main problem was the lack of staff, who only appeared at breakfast time. We didn't use the small breakfast area so cant comment on that.(we were told to use Trevi collection for breakfast) No bar/cafe facilities and could really have used a coffee when back from our sightseeing. With hindsight dont think i was upgraded just fobbed off!!
"Good location, short stay."
Theres nothing quite artsy or Spanish about this hotel. Its tiny and the rooms are small. For the price and location it is a steal. The staff was very nice. I only stayed 1 night and I was alone, had I been with my husband it would be cramped in the room I had. But for a lady traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable.
