My wife and I were here on our honeymoon and we loved the resort. Premises was extraordinary, clean, well maintained, and on top: service level is very high. We would like to mention Yuliantini and Moor from Boneka; they delivered unbelievable service! Thank you very much for making our time here so worthwhile and unforgettable. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful resort with friendly and attentive staff = awesome time in Bali. Our wonderful villa was steps away from the gorgeous beach and swim lagoons. The butler staff and wait staff were phenomenally friendly (Salamat Rahmad and Eko). Chefs Agung (x2 😍) made specially amazing dishes to accommodate a vegan diet. Kayuputi and Dulang restaurants are a MUST if you're in Nusa Dua. Thank you SR Bali; we're definitely coming back.
This place is epic! To start, the most underrated perk is the airport greeting - the hotel staff will meet you at your gate, escort you through an expedited line at customs and bring you right up to your St. Regis branded transport vehicle, in which cold water, lemongrass scented cool towels and welcome chocolates are waiting for you. It's an excellent first impression, and made our time from getting off the plane to getting to our car less than 30 minutes. The resort itself is pretty awesome. We stayed in the St. Regis Suite which is very well appointed and looks over the gardens. It's large, has a great bathroom, and very private. I will say, that the majority of the rooms are actual villas (which we did not realize), many of which have their own pools or face a large enclosed salt water lagoon. They looked beautiful, and had I understood the layout of the resort I would have probably opted for a Villa as opposed to the Suite. That being said, I don't think you could really go wrong either way. The grounds are amazing, meticulously groomed and beautiful. This is the best beach in Bali - hands down - crystal clear, shimmering turquoise water and white sand, which is actually a little unusual for Bali. If you are looking for a fabulous beach environment, which luxurious amenities and lounge chairs, this is the place for you. This is one of the chief value propositions of the resort. If you love pools, and prefer to sit in lounges facing a pool on a tiled deck - this is really not the place for you unless you plan to invest in on of the lagoon villas. The only minor flaw with the hotel is that the lagoon is pretty private and feels like it is really intended for the villas. The beach pool, is still beautiful but a little less functional for pool side lounging. Service! St. Regis far surpassed my expectations for professionalism, service, and courtesy in every way. First of all, I want to give a shout out to Carlos, the Chief Butler/GM-figure of the property, he really extended a warm welcome. The rest of the staff and butlers are also great, they even sent me a cake to my room knowing it was my birthday the month we visited. This was a very nice touch. Food and Beverage: This is maybe the only minor area of improvement. The beach/pool menu is really small in contrast to the in-room dining menu which is huge. This is largely because the guests in the villas probably don't venture out much and tend to order room service, especially during the day. The King Cole bar is a little stodgy in atmosphere for me, I'm not one for live piano/jazz but I'm sure its a crowd pleaser with some guests - though you wouldn't know it because there were only a handful of people in there. I think the resort could try to cultivate a bit more of a casual cocktail bar lounge atmosphere somewhere, rather than ice buckets full of Moet and live jazz. It felt a little forced, I'm usually feeling casual on vacation. The last thing to note - this is really a romantic couples-focused place, with some families sprinkled in and can feel a little isolated from bars, restaurants, and even the other guests. When we travel to the Caribbean or Mexico, we are used to staying in similar 5-Star hotels, but guests tend to mingle, hang out at the pool bar or lobby lounge. This was a little isolationist for me - but hey, your in Bali!
"Perfect Honeymoon Hotel"
My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights on our honeymoon and we had a fantastic time! I cannot rate it highly enough, the rooms were great, the food was great and the attention to detail in everything there was absolutely spot on. The best thing about the hotel is the staff they were so polite and genuinely nice to us throughout our stay and absolutely nothing was too much to ask!
We have just left the St Regis resort after an 8 night stay as part of our honeymoon. This hotel was incredible - immaculately kept and attention to detail exceptional! The staff were fantastic from start to finish and truly go above and beyond to meet your needs! A lot of the staff remember your name so everywhere you go they use your name which just makes it feel so personal. Pool and beach facilities fantastic, clean, comfy and so quiet - most of the time it felt like we had the resort to ourselves! Room - we had a suite which was very spacious and had everything we required. The room was cleaned regularly, it felt that almost every time you left it was cleaned! And really lovely touches with the personalised notes from the staff. Food - Breakfast was fantastic! So much choice, all fresh and cooked to order in addition to buffet selections. The staff are always offering to order you more food or coffees! Only place I have ever stayed where abnormal breakfast can be Lobster and Eggs! In the evening we ate in the Boneka, Deli and Dulang, all food was delicious and again the staff really are brilliant. This truly is a five star resort - if not more! Nothing is too much trouble and the staff really made our stay fantastic. Very impressive and would love to stay again! Not a single negative to say!
