"one day isn't enough..."
A large, beach front resort..... We stayed in a one bedroom suite for one night in Nov 2014. We had a beautiful view of the hotel grounds and the gulf. Enjoyed the beach and the pool. However, it was quite windy on the days we were there. Cabanas were available without an extra charge. There is a separate pool for small children. Staff was very friendly. Tea service was available in the room anytime, all the time....
I had a cockroach on my bedside table - informed the concierge - no apologize no action taken - booked 2 nights 2 rooms - left still no apologize . No sense of hospitality . Action Taken should have been i leave the hotel to explain - i might help if they need
"The best in Abu Dhabi"
Without a doubt this is one of the best hotels in the world. You should never skip it when visiting Abu Dhabi. No wonder the former president Obama stayed there. It is the best choice you can make. You won't regret a single thing. Amazing design and decor, luxurious to a single detail. Great staff, welcoming, polite and helpful. A must is also restaurant Caramel which is in the complex of the hotel. The best pool you can go to. Variety of delicious food is offered too while staying at the pool. A scent of a luxury perfume is present among all complex. You feel like royalty during your stay.
"Relaxing New Years break"
The hotel-beautiful, immaculate, lovely relaxing ambience. The staff-without exception were the most professional, friendly team we have encountered. A very special thank you to Nicky Dsouza in the Manhattan Lounge. We very rarely venture into a hotel bar for pre dinner drinks however, because of Nicky's warm manner and cocktail expertise, we found ourselves in there every evening. We even came home with some new recipe ideas! We travelled with our teenage daughter and her friend (both 16). My husband and I would return without any hesitation. However, I would say it is a little limited for teenagers who are active and enjoy water sports etc. We have probably been a little spoilt spending so much time with them at the Jumeirah beach. Having water sports and the wild wadi on tap is a little more up their street and is probably a little unfair of us to compare the two hotels. The restaurants-amazing food, atmosphere and once again staff. This was our first time in Abu Dhabi, we did venture out of the hotel for shopping and a few excursions and I must say that the location on Saadiyat island is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Abu Dhabi. It feels like a beach holiday but close enough to all that the city has to offer. All in all an amazing hotel in a great location. Highly recommend.
"Mr Hitesh Modi"
Currently staying at this beautiful hotel. What an amazing place it is with a lovely management team and and superb service right from the butler to the sales and marketing. This is our 1st experience with St Regis and I would without doubt recommend this hotel to anyone who has kids. The team is so flexible and accommodating with all requests, nothing is too Much for them. The Butler service has been amazing and I think the hotel should shout about it as this is a superb service which I think guests don't know a lot about as I was speaking to some guests. The kids club is very good and staff again are excellent and friendly, there's plenty to keep the young ones occupied. Sadly the outside kids pool is under renovation and back up and running next week. As this is a kids friendly hotel I would recommend a listening in service which hotels in Europe do so parents can have a nice evening within the hotel. I'd like to name a few people who have been excellent Butler - Josephine, Danica one more can't remember but they were fantastic. Danika made a special Goody bag for my older girl and a small present for little one a nice little touch that goes a long way. Zeshan Farooqi was excellent. Padma the front office manager who made our stay comfortable Abhay Kanwar an amazing guy who will has great PR skills and an asset To St Regis. Some of the ppl from Olea where we dined every evening and without a fuss served us well from chefs to servers Mahmoud Mohamed Hassan Al.soonq.dmi chef Rio Patra pratama Brishshant Mahajan Badr - olea supervisor and Sarafina Ashish ohjd Sudip budaprithi Gyan uparkoti Pawan Singh Anthony at olea one of the supervisors Anwar the sous chef There are a few more but i hope you all get the jist that this is an amazing hotel and I would highly recommend to anyone. The beach is lovely and rooms are well maintained and the pools are heated which is a great benefit in the cooler months of the year.
