Great location, good hotel and wonderful staff. This was our seventh consecutive one week's stay at this hotel since 2010. Covent Garden and Charing Cross tube stations are only five minutes away and theatreland is within easy walking distance. Hope to visit again next year. Vincent & Jane Malta
Stayed hear recently for 1 night as had tickets for a west end show, now I read before booking it was close to the theatre I needed but pretty much opposite on the other side of the road! Amazing! The hotel sure does look grand when you see it, and upon entering that feeling doesn't disappear, lovely lobby and reception area, check in super quick and easy, were I received my £15 voucher and bottle of prosecco! Lovely touch, room was cosey and super clean, also comfy bed. Very close also to Covent Garden just seems to be in the perfect location, will certainly be my number one choice for my next visit.
I've stayed here previously. This place does what it says on the tin - centrally located tourist hotel. If you want more than a good three star go across the road to The Savoy. But that must not take from this good value location. I found the staff on reception welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and functional (I advised you pay the extra for a standard double). Maybe the mattress was tired and the pillow flat but I was only here for one night. Don't get the breakfast the queue is too long, head out to Covent Garden where you get great breakfast restaurants. I'll be back....
Good service etc however Bar closed at 2AM, would of thought it would be open for residents until they left. Welcome bottle for booking direct nice surprise, would stay again. Would i use this hotel again perhaps if a good offer was on.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked the standard double room, which was tiny. Cannot imagine what the 'cosy' double is like size wise. Room was clean and an excellent water pressure on the shower. Large room safe. Only complaint a lack of a fridge. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good, a good variety, from the full English to the continental option. Beware though, it does get very crowded at peak time, long queue at main restaurant. To cater for this they do serve breakfast in another room, again crowded but no queue, tables though are quite close. Free Wifi throughout the hotel. Overall though, you cannot fault this hotel for location slap bang in the middle of Central London so would recommend it.
