"Breath taking view"
A resort located beside a small waterfall. This resort got a restaurant with a view of a nice waterfall. The food price is affordable and good taste. Worth a visit if u came to this area especially after extreme outdoor activities at that area.
"Back to Nature"
Stay here for 2 night. It's really back to nature, with waterfall at your sight, peacocks and ducks roaming freely around. If you are lucky, the peacocks may appear in front of your room. Room is antique, with the shower room, close to nature. (Note: you may find snails peeping you over showers) Food wise is abit to the expensive side. Free Wifi is available, but on and off, not stable. But hell, you are suppose to be back to nature, who cares about Wifi. Staffs are attentive. The Boss of the resort is a friendly old chap. Things to do - there are lotsa things to do from ATV, jungle trekking, elephant riding, Zoo, night safari etc. The best is to get to the Mountain, Doi Suthep and Mon Jam, especially Mon Jam, where you can have lunch over a beautiful scenery. (Note: Best to engage a reliable driver to drive you around) Both trips took about half a day, so planned your trip well. Forget about the white Temple, nothing to shout about.
"Good place for relax"
If you want to escape out of big city life and relax close to the nature this is a right place to stay in. The hotel is located in very peaceful and beautiful countryside which is an hour way from Chiang Mai. The restaurant offers a good variety of Thai food. The staff was extremally nice and helpfull. However there are two things that should be improved. The hotel needs some renovation and construction works and a better variety of breakfast meals as the last one is rather poor now.
"wonderful place to rest... but not for more than 1 night"
We stayed there with my wife for 1 night, it's a really charming place, with peacocks free around the hotel. We took the room with the jacuzzi, the room was pretty nice and cosy but too much humidity in the bathroom, it was wet on the floor and while filling the jaccuzi cold drops were still sinking from the shower, but the biggest problem is the thin walls, our neighbors had a kid and we heard her running it was terrible, like if she was on an elephant, and even the parents walking normally it was loud. The only problem there is that it's very small (the pool is a joke btw and not romantic at all), and except a 2 hours trecking in the forest, there's absolutely nothing to do there. We ate breakfast and diner there, they were both pretty good but not much and more expensive than any other restaurants in chiang mai.
"beautiful scenery / check menu before u order"
got charged 190 thb for big singha. this normally comes around 100/120 in chiang mai. kitchen was closed even it was around 5 pm. will come back with different expectations and for coffee only. heard food is ok if kitchen is open. will try again one day.
