"My staycation at Swissôtel"
It was during my wedding anniversary. My Wife loves the food at the Swiss club lounge where they served evening cocktails and breakfast. The staff never fails to greet us with a smile and everything was great. We enjoyed our stay there and I will definitely recommend those who need a short stay.
"Nice Classic Hotel "
Nice Hotel at an excellent location. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Just as it has to be. Rooms offer a lot of space even if the interiors is a bit outdated. Late 70's style is en vogue again! Long queues for breakfast during rush hours.
"Rooms look very tired "
Room is big at the executive floor. The city view is great especially at night. Service was average and could be better. Can't find any staff that are friendly and warmth. No eye contact when talking to us. Water flowing slow. Was told that the room was renovated but don't seem to be. The pillows are too soft and are not comfortable. The smoke detector is not well maintained and looks like it faulty . Limited breakfast selection.
"Big room with much needed upgrade"
We were here for a family trip for 4 nights. This hotel has a great location, great view and the access to the mall downstairs is a plus. I like the size of the room and friendly staff. The downfall is the room is outdated, it requires tons of upgrade and clean up. I feel like the room just doesn't live up the the 5 stars it carries. I was personally not happy with the bathroom, it doesn't even have a vent. The bath tube leaks water and poor draining. The make-up mirror in the bathroom is unreasonable for a 5"2 short person like me, it was placed above my head. It feels like a 3 star hotel bathroom situated in a five star hotel. One last thing is the attitude of the front desk is not as nice as I would hope, maybe i declined to upgrade my room. I was not happy to return to the front desk next morning to reconfirm my hotel room comes with breakfast. It should've been clear once I checked into the hotel room. I even have to show proof from my reservation email. I didn't know the reservation system is outdated as well. If you're here for a night and for a view is great but pick another comparable hotel if you're planning to stay over 2 nights.
"Great location, good hotel"
Stayed for four nights and wasn't disappointed. This is a good hotel, albeit very large. We had an exec room with fabulous view across the bay. Service was good. We ate at Equinox (see separate review of restaurant). We also visited the bar on the same floor several times. We wish we hadn't to have to take the lift to the ground floor to change lift to go to the 70th floor though. We had a an issue with checking in with misdirection to our room but otherwise the hotel is efficiently run. It's true that in areas it's looking more 1980's than 2016 but it's not too bad. Breakfast has a wide selection of item but the room is very noisy. There's an exec lounge (depending on your room type) but it's not extensive and the food and drinks are quite limited. The main thing is that this is a big, busy hotel but is very well positioned. We would stay again I think.
