"Loved the location"
After a first night in which we faced some issues with the A/C, they changed the room for us and the rest of our staying was splendid. The location is great: across the rd there is the train station, next to it there are shopping attractions with fair prices and even for us who eats Halal food there is nice Turkish restaurants. One of the best thing about this hotel is the restaurant and the variety of food and the ambiance.
"The Best gets Better"
First of all let me warn you before yopu go reading this review, i am reviewing one of my most favorite hotels in the world. This time the best got even better as there was a great buzz in the hotel and i could feel this time a most functional lobby , really busy with a lot of buzz but at the same time it felt as if everything was moving so seamlessly like the swiss clocks ...yes indeed. This hotel has perfected the art of service and that is the reason i keep going back and seeing the same faces all the time, probably they love their work so much in here that they just stay there and mind you this is a very big plus point to hotels these days when so many new hotels are being opened all over the world.. What can i say about the room quality and the breakfast and the spa area etc, enough has been said about all that and things are as good as ever. Nothing to beat the Suites in here, the best but then what else will you expect from a hotel which has Emotion Managers like Ms Jenny and Ms Marie. Till today have not come across any hotel which has Emotion Managers.... this works for sure like the proverbial swiss clock. Three cheers to the Hotel and Jenny and Marie who are more like friends than anything else.
"very friendly and helpful front desk.Good hotel -very small rooms"
I have communicated everything about the hotel in my title. but to make it more helpful for readers i will list important things. Location- besides Zurich oerlikon train station By train its just 5 min From Airport, just few min from City centre Which is Zurich HB station. Its not in city center but very easy accessible . Train station is just beside, and Tram station is just outside the hotel . We used the tram to reach city center and although it took 15 min, it was more fun. If you are travelling further to Lucerne there is a direct train, if you are with luggage and kids as we were, it become very convenient Hotel: Hotel is not luxurious but modern and good, a perfect 4* i would say .The pool area is awesome with the views of snow capped mountain. Spa area is good too. Breakfast was very good and i would highly recommend it. wifi is paid and if you are a swissotel member, it's free for you. Staff: I found the the most friendliest and helpful Reception/front desk staff in our whole trip of Switzerland where we stayed mostly in 5* hotels. Because of them i am giving it a 4 star rating. The bad : Well the room , very small and if you are with a kid there would hardly any space to walk . we were in their standard room , i dont know about other rooms. The room size is the only thing bad about the hotel , if it is not a problem for you Go for it.
Near Oerlikon train station, 5 mins from Zurich HB but by train, good transport connections. Not close to the city center. Paid wifi, starbucks on the first floor really helps to solve this issue. Good spa and pool. Good breakfast, nice rooms but furniture was not new
This is an excellent hotel with good food and service located clowe to the trainstation just one station from the airport about 10 min or 10-15 min by tram. The restaurant has the best burger I have ever had actually
