Stayed there for 2 nights and thought that it was a pretty decent hotel. The room that I stayed in was very clean and in good size (even though the bathroom is small). The train station is located just across the hotel - so it's fairly convenient. For Starbucks lovers, there is a Starbucks in this hotel. The only downside of the hotel is that pillows provided are too flat to provide any decent support. For those who need internet connection, do take note that the hotel does not provide any free WIFI.
"Convenient for a short stay"
I only stayed here one night as I was preparing to leave Switzerland. This hotel has a lot going for it in that it is very convenient to the airport (just a short train ride away), the train station is right across the street and it's only a short train ride to the central city as well. From the outside, it's not a very welcoming building...kind of drab as are most of the surrounding buildings. However, once inside it is a sleek, modern hotel. I was greeted warmly by the front desk and check-in was completed in only about two minutes time. Then, it was a quick elevator ride to my room. The room was a bit small, but not bad by European standards. The room was impeccably clean and had nice amenities. Since it was a weekend, the rate I paid was good value in my opinion for this room. If I'm ever in Zurich again, I would consider staying here, if I couldn't find anything affordable in the central city area which is admittedly a bit more lively.
Really great design and the restaurant is lovely. Hotel rooms are clean and simple. Loved that the train was opposite the hotel and only 6CHF to the airport and you can also buy a 24hour ticket for the train which takes you to the city centre/lake area which is only 2 stops away. Try and get a room higher up to give you great views of Zurich!
"Beautiful hotel - great location!"
Beautiful, clean, comfortable. AMAZING staff who makes you feel welcome and will help with all questions. Great location - adjacent to transportation with many restaurants in the area. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large; we had a great view! Thank you for making our stay there memorable!
"Business hotel for good sleepers"
I stayed here for a business meetig in November. Location is perfect... not to be tempted to escape during a business meeting. Otherwise you can visit the train station. Meeting amenities were OK. But nothing special. Food was nice: also the breakfast and the dinner we had on the place. Room was small, but well equipped: I received even ear plugs to survive the noise during the night, coming from the reconstruction of the surrounding streets. I only missed the heating in the room - got nearly frozen first night.
