"Spend birthday with friends"
Facilities were great. The pool, vue bar and the restaurant are impressive. Had a great dinner and breakfast. Rooms are not quite impressive to me for this class of hotel. The hallways look dark and sad.
"Good place for Staycations"
We stayed in a deluxe room with king sized bed for 1 night in this hotel. It's clean, spacious and has a view of some parts of the city. Staffs are friendly, too! The pool in the Main Wing is fine but the pool in Tower Wing is better and modern. The best part of our stay is their buffet breakfast. A lot of choices and the food is very good. The hotel is somehow close to ATC but not like Crimson Hotel wherein you can just walk towards Festival Mall. Overall, it was a nice stay and will recommend.
"Nice stay but the non-smoking rooms had ashtrays"
Requested for non-smoking room due to my sons asthma, but was given a room with ashtrays and smoke smell was distinct. Spent the days at the hospital after our stay. The service was ok.. even breakfast was ok
I chose to celebrate my birthday here because of the birthday package they offered. As was stated in the bday package, we can opt to check out late. However, because of the holiday rush they said that option is no longer available, but we can still check in early if we want. They said that the earliest we can check in is at 1pm but when I called on the day we're supposed to check in I was surprised when I found out that we could have checked in earlier coz the room's already ready by 9am. We arrived at the hotel at around 1:30 pm coz we came from Laguna pa. If we were told beforehand sana that we can check in as early as 9am, then we could have prepared early and arrive early (say 10 am'), then maybe the queue in the check in counter wouldn't be as long. When we arrived, we had to wait for over an hour to be checked in pa because apart from the fact that there are lots of people checking in that time, the lady who's manning the check in counter doesn't know how to handle the requests of the person in front of me. I think the wait would have been longer than an hour if the other receptionist did not come to help. I understand that we had to wait a long time to be checked in because of the Christmas/New Year break but couldn't they have prepared for it' I mean, if you're expecting lots of people, then why didn't you add more check-in counters or something' Another thing I did not like is that I specifically requested for a room with a good view yet they gave us a room with a bad view (a lettuce garden that looks bad). The bed in our room is also hard. Since Bellevue is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, I expected the bed to be really soft like in other hotels. The room's also on the small side. Another disappointing thing is the dinner buffet. For the price we paid, I expected there to be lots of food choices. However, the food selection's really limited and the taste is not that good. The breakfast buffet is really good though. I wasn't expecting much because most hotels' breakfast offerings aren't that good so I was pleasantly surprised that there are so many food choices. The food's also so much better than the one they served at dinner. Another thing I like is the birthday cake they gave me. It was delicious. The pool is also good, but the water's a bit cold so my son wasn't able to enjoy it that much. I think it would have been better if they invested on a heater. It's okay though coz my son still enjoyed playing in the bathtub. It's a bit disappointing though coz their hot and cold shower/faucet's not working. Check-out wasn't a breeze either coz there are lots of people in the lobby. But it's more tolerable coz my son didn't throw tantrums (unlike when we checked in). My son also liked the cookies they gave us while waiting in the lobby. To summarize, the things I liked are the breakfast buffet, bathtub, birthday cake and free cookies. What I didn't like are the non-existent hot and cold shower, hard bed, so-so dinner at Cafe d' Asie, check-in and check-out process, etc. For a 5-star hotel, there are still so many things they need to work on. Overall, I would give this hotel an average rating.
"Worst new year staycation ever!"
I booked 5 rooms for the holidays and gor my rooms available at 6pm ---3 hours late. I had to beg for a late check out and they had my key cards deactivated on point. This hotel just said their apologies and took my hard earned money and chance of having a happy new year with my family.
