The Burrard is more pied à terre than a pleasure hotel. It is located in a vibrant and populated area in the heart of Vancouver which boasts a large number of business opportunities. The hotel is also a very good starting point for excursions by bike down the seawall.
Very happy with the stay.Comment of P. Stephen , New Zealand the 2015-06-29
Excellent value for your dollar here. Super location as well. Clean, quiet, and tough to beat at this price.Comment of L. Todd , Canada the 2015-06-05
Very nice atmosphere and style for the hotel. No meals included but the location makes up for that. 2 minute walk to some great restaurants on Davie st. Very close to Robson for shopping. Great courtyard for relaxing with a cup of coffee. Complimentary coffee was appreciated. Clean comfortable room. Could have been soundproofed a little bit more.Comment of C. "50's Retro and Quirky"
Booked this hotel to get a taste of Vancouver whilst visiting my sister , its a quirky 50's retro borderline boutique hotel close to the trendy bars and restaurants of Yale Town, great breakfast restaurants close by too. I think this area gives a great feel for the cosmopolitan nature of Vancouver and some great Canadian natives, Australians, Greeks and fellow Brits.. The Hotel is very clean, retro feel is cool! with the expected modern touch and facilities including free Wifi. Would definitely come back.
"Boutique Hotel is a little gem!"
We stayed one night at The Burrard because it was near St. Paul's Hospital. An older hotel, but the facelift is great. Clean and bright smallish rooms with all the amenities we need. Wifi was fast. Check in and out were welcoming and efficient. Free bike use is a an added bonus! Elevator was small and slow but in a small hotel it was no big deal. We'll be back!
"great place for the buck."
extremely comfortable bed, good wifi, privacy, quiet, gracious staff, printing in the lobby, great location and easy access to anywhere in the downtown area, free water in the room, espresso and if that's not enough they let you take some bikes out for free.
Terrific stay at this funky hotel. Will recommend to others, and will return. Great amenities, super helpful staff. Would look forward to the free bikes in better weather. Very comfortable beds. See you again.
"The Ghost Concert Hotel Stay."
It was a pleasant experience. I loved the retro vibe of the rooms. The courtyard was enjoyable as well. Of course being downtown there was a lot of city noise, but not too bad. I would visit the Burrard again.
