"Most relaxing hotel"
It was my first time in Rome could not have pick a more relaxing hotel.after days in the centre of Rome sightseeing.it was wonderful to return to the Palace hotel to relax.Jthe breakfast was very good and staff very helpful.the Restarant was in a lovely setting outside the food was very good there to but the staff seemed very un friendly.and from reading tripAdviser I feel the same on hot nights there was on one in the Restarant and no one was allowed to seat outside to have a drink.the hotel was spotless and would love to return sometime.
I spent two night at this hotel with a tour group. What a treat! The facilities and the staff were welcoming and professional. Every question and concern were answered quickly and helpfully. I left a personal article behind so I sent an email to ask about it. Their response was speedy and most helpful. The grounds and the amenities are beautiful and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone. There is a free smart phone to use while you are a guest - great help for travelars
If you want a hotel that is out of the city centre, but still within easy travelling distance of the main sights, then you can't go far wrong with the Church Palace. Location: Just a short walk from the Metro station, in it's own grounds. The area around at first look seems a bit seedy, but the locals were lovely, there were some great places to eat and we felt safer than we would have done in London, even late at night. Although there were times when we would have liked to be right in the heart of the action, it was nice to escape to this peaceful oasis at the end of the day. Hotel: There were a couple of weddings and other functions on while we were there and this hotel is clearly geared towards corporate guests. Having said that, all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcomimg. The bar and seating areas were beautiful and a nice place to spend an evening relaxing. Rooms: Our room was clean and well appointed. The only down side for us (and probably common to most european hotels) - no tea making facilities! Food: The breakfast was much better than we expected from some other reviews on here. There was certainly plenty to eat and a wide variety. A good continental selection. Get up early though as it can get busy!
This hotel is amazing! It's clean, located near a train station, staff are helpful and friendly but most of all Mr C (Sayoh Lahai) and his recommendations was the icing on the cake! He advised of us of many restaurants, monuments to visit, and ways to get around which were extremely helpful! Thanks again Mr C!
"Quiet location but still in a living part of the city"
I was here for a conference that took place at Ergife Palace. I was glad I stayed in The Church Palace Hotel. It was about 15 minutes walking.About 5 minutes to the metro and to some great restaurants. Personel is very friendly. I had a small but clean and functional room. A bit noisy from the big hotel airconditioning if you open the window. East wing, uneven room number. Only Italian channels on TV. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is OK.
