The Cromwell is centrally located on the corner of Flamingo and the Las Vegas Strip, and across from the iconic Caesars Palace and The Forum shops.
Rooftop club music so loud all the way down to our 5th floor room. Don't stay here if you like sleep!! Called front desk when drunks are partying in the hallways to come up and take care of it. They should already anticipate this happening.
I have stayed at all the major strip hotels for the past 30 years. Our 3 night stay was beyond the worst anytime, anywhere. The nightclub Drais is noisy, with it being on the top floor almost all floors hear the bass thumping to 4am... we didn't mind it, many others did. I had been waiting for a reason to stay at the Cromwell, big disappointment. You have a number of issues, first being it's a boutique hotel so you will be limited on dining. Granted, the one place they have is Giada's, frankly you get tired of heavy sauce, butter, cream, one style; gets old fast. Next problem is rooms with adjoining doors, they allow you to hear everything. Now throw in people here for a 24 hour bender that just scream and yell and stomp around in the room ALL night long.... Ask anyone, they all have the same story. Ask staff, they will tell you it's a problem. Trust me, it's huge. The Cromwell apparently allows single night stays, hence the huge issues... people pile into one room and just spend the whole night partying at their neighbors expense. My advice.. If you care about any sleep, forget it... seriously forget it. This hotel sleeps during the day and rolls all night. I made the mistake thinking it was upscale business, my mistake. Another issue... the floors are hardwood. Stilettos and thin walls.... its like woodpeckers but much worse. I lodged my first ever complaint, then my second ever complaint; became so bad the adjoining room inhabitants had to be physically removed. Management left the room intentionally empty so that on the third night we could get 5 hrs sleep as the two prior nights where sleepless. I wouldn't stay here again for free, I wouldn't. There are too many better hotels, including Motel 6 at the airport, that will provide you with the comfort and quiet you would expect....It really is that bad. Staff as others mentioned are great, but all the hotels have great staff. One thing is this, the staff truly feels bad when they know you had a bad night.. It's a known problem, you can't mix business clients with party clients.
"A day playing at the Cromwell"
The casino has a good mixture of slot and table games. The table games are affordable to play, not like some of the other casinos that have large minimums. The deals were friendly and gave advise on what to do and where to eat without spending a fortune.
there is no daylight-except a small window in what direction'to a wall !!!! no space for laptop-and not eneough light"bulbs" - very dark.service ok.would not book the hotel again without "see" my room before booking
"Gem of the Strip"
If you are looking for a smaller casino with first rate customer service, The Cromwell is your casino. Classic decor, comfortable chairs, friendly and personable dealers and excellent cocktail service. Not too smoky or loud. You cannot beat its central location as well.
