"HORRIBLE, IRATE, HATEFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL CRAPS TABLE DEALER!!!!!!!! RUDE TREATMENT"
On the early morning of October 18, 2016 between the hours of 3am-5am a friend and I were headed back to our rooms at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. On the way back to our rooms we cut through the Cromwell as a form of a shortcut. While walking through The Cromwell my friend who was extremely drunk decided to stop at one of the craps tables and begin to gamble, mind you my friend was very drunk unaware of what he was doing and I was not and I knew it wasn’t in his best interest to gamble at that point in his current state. As we walk up to the table there are the 3 dealers and a pit boss. The dealer who I would later find out to be extremely ghetto and unprofessional was standing directly across from my friend and I and his name was ANDRE BROWN. My friend digs in his pockets and pulls out about $1,000 or so and tosses it on the table. Being the good friend I am I put his money back in his hands and advise him he shouldn’t do that because he was so drunk and he should play with a smaller amount of money. At that point the dealer ANDRE BROWN (someone who doesn’t know me AT ALL) began to verbally attack and berate/belittle me in front of a crowd of Cromwell customers and employees saying things such as the following: “YOU MUST BE BROKE” “YOU LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE BAD CREDIT AND NO MONEY” “YOU PROBABLY DON’T OWN A HOME” “LET YOUR FRIEND GAMBLE SINCE HE IS THE ONLY ONE WITH MONEY” “THE MONEY YOU HAVE IS PROBABLY YOUR RENT MONEY THAT YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO SPEND” Of Course any human is going to feel attacked when another man is coming at him in such a manner. What was extremely shocking to me at this point was the fact that the pit boss who was there (shorter white guy, dark hair) said absolutely nothing while this dealer continued to devalue my life and existence in front of a crowd of people while we went back and forth. Mind you the only thing I said that was even close to being rude was I called the Dealer a dealer I told him the following: “You think you’re better than me because you’re a dealer or something” Everything else I said was to the pit bosses and people around about how can a dealer speak to me like this and say such nasty things to a customer. Another worker came to me who wasn’t any help at all and again never addressed her employee on his insane rude behavior, her name was BEATRIZ MELLOR. I felt extremely embarrassed, hurt and betrayed. Mainly due to the fact that I am a DEVOTED AND LOYARL TOTAL REWARDS Member for 6 years diamond status TR #: 17503765698. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at the Cromwell and many other total rewards casinos over years because it is my favorite rewards program and I have usually got good service until this incident. This one incident has changed my entire outlook on total rewards and Cromwell as far as the type of people they hire. This dealer was so angry, evil and spiteful towards me it almost felt personal as if he had a personal issue with me. Seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder and used me as a target to release his sarcastic, condescending anger by again slandering my name and character in front of a crowd of people. I felt that the dealers and staff at the Cromwell ganged up on me and didn’t care for my side of things at all and were only protecting their employee. I am very aware that dealers deal with rude people day in and out but this was not the case. I was trying to protect my friend who was drunk and didn’t know what he was doing and I was verbally attacked and embarrassed for “being a friend”. Security was eventually called and I dealt with STEVE HARMON who actually a cool guy and explained the situation. They found it best I left (KICKED OUT) and didn’t let me go back to the table to get my friend who ended up losing his $1,000 and didn’t even remember anything the next morning. This was hurtful to me since I knew I could of prevented that if the casino and their staff had morals the employee ANDRE BROWN didn’t begin to verbally attack me as a way to get rid of me. I have a huge social media following and I will be spreading this story and experience on all outlets I can get a hold of. Cromwell may look boutique but it is far from it. This is obviously nothing more than a dressed up thug of a casino if their employees are allowed to treat clients in such a manner especially repeat customers who are diamond status and actually spend money on a regular basis there. I am a professional in real estate for 9 years and I have had clients be very rude to me but if I ever lost my cool and personally began to attack my clients I would be out of a job faster than I could blink. Especially if I, the employee started it. In this case I wasn’t rude to the “employee dealer ANDRE BROWN”. Again I told my friend not to gamble and the dealer began personally down talking to me like I was a bum off the street. If this is what total rewards and their casinos represent I am sure many of the competing rewards programs will be gaining your customers. I have been through a lot in my life and have worked very hard to obtain my two homes and strong career and financial stability to be spoken to in such a vile manner by an employee of a business that I spend a lot of my money at. I would like a response to this to see how this will be handled rectified. Sincerely Harvey
"Best Hotel Casino in Las Vegas NV."
This Hotel Casino has everything you could ask for. The one thing they do better than the other Hotel Casinos is customer service. Check in is prompt. The rooms are good. The Casino staff are nice. Everyone is friendly and there to serve you. They are the only Hotel Casino I know who has free parking. If you are in the Casino at night and have the pleasure of seeing a cocktail waitress named Jamey then you will understand what the term "Above and Beyond" means in customer service. I ask for a manager to talk to before I left. I spoke with Dan Ticker and expressed my happiness with the property. It was a pleasure to speak to him. He was not the typical management in a casino. Most Managers run around looking busy and really do very little. This was not the case as he really took the time to listen to me. 5 Stars to the Cromwell and there Staff. Will make this my new Hotel Casino.
"Great Small Property"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Cromwell. The room was cozy and comfortable. The casino was lively and the atmosphere felt safe and fun. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future. Really like the location. Able to visit the Linq and Planet Hollywood.
"It's great at the Cromwell"
We stayed on the 5th floor in a suite and didn't experience any problems with the noise from the roof top night club. I would definitely stay there again. We are in our mid 50!s and felt very comfortable here. The staff are excellent. Great location.
"Good casino for slots"
Great staff, pleasant and efficient. I accidentally left my player's card in the machine and it was quickly replaced upon my return. The cocktail waitresses come by often, and they make a great Bloody Mary.
